Improved on disappointing debut in July well beaten 13L at Tipperary over 5f when finishing eighth of 14 but beaten just 4¼L here three weeks ago over 7f.
Gelding by Zebedee out of a Chevalier mare. related to Spring Loaded, Magical Memory and recent Wolverhampton winner Island Brave. Worth a market check.
Has beaten just two of 32 runners home in three career starts a total of 128L behind each victor. Requires a chunk of improvement to play a role here.
Seventh of 14 beaten 7L on debut when last seen here in October 2016 in a two-year-old maiden. Market likely to reveal expectations.
Fairly solid and consistent over the summer and more recently here last month without winning. One for the shortlist in first-time visor.
75-rated handicapper when in the hands of Kevin Ryan but has shown little in five starts for this yard over a variety of distances. Will need to improve significantly.
Well beaten on handicap debut but heavy ground probably didn't suit so that run best forgotten in September and ninth of 13 here early last month well beaten 9½L. May find this tough.
Byron filly whose dam was an unraced half-sister to useful winner up to 2m Redspin. Eighth of 14 beaten 12L over 7f going off at 66/1 and may struggle here.
€90,000 daughter of Sharmardal who made pleasing debut at Cork in heavy ground in April before finishing fourth of seven beaten 6L 15 days later when in the care of Willie McCreery. Worth a market check on stable debut.
Filly by Le Cadre Noir out of a Highest Honour mare. Related to multiple Hong Kong Group victor California Memory winner of 4m in his career. Tough ask on debut.
Nicely bred filly by Kheleyf out of an Acclamation mare related to multiple winners Line Of Reason, Sayif and Captain Ramius. Slowly in to stride on debut when ninth of 14 last month and others preferred.
Zebedee filly out of a Flying Spur mare related to multiple winners Spring Loaded and Magical Memory. Well beaten and no impression on two career starts and looks out of her depth here.
Has shown improvement over this season following a disappointing debut in October last year. Beaten less than 4¼L on her last three starts here. Shouldn't be underestimated.
Ninth of 14 beaten 24L on racecourse debut here in October behind Massif Central before a promising third of 13 beaten ¾L behind Menelik last month. May have to settle for a place but not completely out of it.
First Reserve: Beaten a long way in all seven starts including over 5f here last time when 18th of 19.
Forecasts
Peace Officer (11/4), Catamaran (4/1), Above Us Only Sky (5/1), Smart Stinger (6/1), Gougane Barra (7/1), Rag Tatter (8/1), Amazing One (12/1), Minor Melody (16/1), Time Stands Still (20/1), Baile An Roba (20/1), Dash D'Or (25/1), Bunnie Eyes (33/1), On The Boards (50/1), Creggs Lad (50/1), Onchu (50/1)
The early pace of Rag Tatter and Above Us Only Sky may only be bettered by the speed of PEACE OFFICER from stall five. The Edward Lynam-trained gelding has been pretty consistent over the summer and more recently here and looks a cut above in this grade. Catamaran, on debut for Ger Lyons and Mick Halfords Gougane Barra can hit the frame.
