72-rated and a thorough stayer on the Flat, especially on soft ground. Frustrating to follow over hurdles with sole win being nearly three years ago. Has improved despite plenty of placed runs since and should have a squeak in this grade.
Has won two of his four so far, including an 8L novices' hurdle success at Taunton (2m3f, good) when last seen in March. Has won on good to soft, though yet to race on soft ground. Goes well fresh and potential to go very well from this mark.
0-5 over hurdles, while he won two chases at up to 3m1½f when trained in Ireland. Well held when last seen over fences in June and now makes debut for this yard from 9lb lower. Capable of being involved if fully wound up, so market check advised.
Stayed on strongly to win on his hurdles debut in France (2m1½f, vsoft) in September last year and joined this yard soon after. Now makes his debut for them from a mark that is not easy to assess and a market check is very much the suggestion.
Won a 3m chase a couple of years ago but has been back over hurdles this year, scoring at Plumpton (3m1f, good to soft) in March from 6lb lower. Well held on both subsequent starts from 2lb higher than today, so has a bit to prove coming into this.
Put together back-to-back chase wins at Leicester (2m4f) and here (2m) on testing ground in February/March but handicapper looked in control next time. Reverted to hurdles from lower mark last time but needs to improve on that despite 3lb drop.
Scored here over 2m (heavy) in novices' company in January and successfully carried a penalty when stepped up to 2m4½f (soft) at Sedgefield in March. Good effort over C&D on her return from this mark and that gives her claims again today.

Forecasts
Spiritofthegames (9/4), Molly Carew (5/2), Ardmayle (7/1), Corlay (7/1), Song Light (7/1), Kansas City Chief (9/1), Ballyheigue Bay (14/1), Vicenzo Mio (25/1)
Song Light can't be ruled out despite top weight in this company, while Kansas City Chief is on a fair mark and should be checked for any confidence in the betting on his first run for Neil Mulholland, whose other runner Molly Carew has claims in receipt of weight from most of her opponents. Corlay is unexposed and very interesting on his debut, though again the betting may be the best guide as to expectations from a mark of 120. However, the vote goes to SPIRITOFTHEGAMES, who goes well fresh and could be capable of defying this mark on his return to handicapping.
