Improved in bumpers in early 2016, getting off the mark the last time we saw her at Ffos Las (2m, soft). Related to plenty of success over hurdles/fences at 2m-2m6f, so this is a good starting point over hurdles and she could go very well.
Modest form both in bumpers and in two starts over hurdles in 2014, though her best effort was over 2m4f. Off the track for over three years and looks very much one to take a watching brief over on this occasion.
Placed in a couple of bumpers earlier in the year on good/fast ground, though refused to race at Uttoxeter in June. Step up in trip looks positive for hurdles debut, though has temperament to overcome and also tries soft ground for the first time,
Made the frame in two point-to-points in Ireland earlier in the year, though was taken out of intended debut at Worcester last month. Yard in decent form, though if she takes her chance today then given modest pedigree she is probably one to watch.
Stamina-laden pedigree and has underlined that with three frame finishes at 2m3½f-2m5f over over hurdles. Has run well fresh without winning a couple of times, so no major concerns after a break here and she is not ruled out.
Yet to add to her debut bumper win from last year, but has shown more promise than most of these over hurdles, making the frame here over 2m (heavy) in January and at Plumpton (2m4½f) last time. A reproduction or better gives her decent claims.
Won a heavy ground Irish point-to-point earlier in the year on her fourth such start. Sold for £11,000 since then. Half-sister to a 3m chase winner and this is a good starting point over hurdles. In good hands and market check suggested.
Well beaten in both a bumper and in a recent Plumpton novices' hurdle (2m4½f, good). Plenty of jumping success in her pedigree, so there is probably some ability to be unlocked, especially with this trainer. Market check suggested.
Forecasts
Naranja (4/5), Miss Yeats (7/2), Alice Pink (7/1), Queen Of The Wind (10/1), Madame Fiona (16/1), Miss Adventure (20/1), Poppy Hill (20/1), Goneinaglance (66/1)
A tricky race for punters given the presence of both potential improver Queen Of The Wind and hurdling debutantes Poppy Hill, Alice Pink and Madame Fiona, who all have points of merit on pedigree. Miss Yeats needs a bit of improvement but she does at least have some invaluable experience, but NARANJA may have more scope and it given the nod after a good reappearance at Plumpton last time.
- Naranja
- Poppy Hill
- Madame Fiona
