Ffos Las (heavy) chase winner over 2m5f on final start for Rebecca Curtis but well held here in April (2m7½f, good) on debut for this trainer. Better on recent reappearance over timber and just 1lb above previous winning mark now.
Very easy winner at Plumpton on Monday over hurdles (3m1f, good to soft) in Class 5 company off a mark of 93. If she backs that up a 7lb penalty is unlikely to see her ambitions grounded in this moderate company.
Just the one win from 22 over hurdles, at Worcester (2m7f, good) in July off a mark of 95. Ran well enough off short break at Chepstow this month over similar trip and gives impression he'll stay this far.
Mostly limited ability shown over hurdles bar one solid outing on novice company at Wetherby (2m3½f, good) in March, back to type on reappearance last month at Chepstow and watching brief advised now with cheekpieces added.
A 13-race maiden, the ten-year-old has twice finished second in six starts over fences in Ireland - both times over this sort of staying trip. Not exactly favoured on these terms, perhaps place money on the cards at best again back over flights.
Good effort to finish runner-up on heavy ground at Plumpton in February and ran well to be fourth at Kempton (2m5f, good) subsequently. Races off just a mark 1lb higher but it's nearly five years since he last tasted success.
Beaten out of sight in all three starts over hurdles so far (debut last month). Switches to handicaps now and requires a dramatic turnaround in fortune just to get competitive.
Forecasts
Miss Mayfair (13/8), Balkinstown (3/1), Let's Tango (11/2), Rare Legend (6/1), How About It (7/1), Landscape (25/1), Golden Jet (50/1)
If MISS MAYFAIR turns up here in the same mood as she was in at Plumpton on Monday, she'll take all manner of stopping. That was a career-best effort as she scored with any amount in hand and connections are attempting to strike again under her penalty before the handicapper intervenes. How About It and Balkinstown could take advantage if she isn't up to this while Rare Legend should run another honest race.
