A 19 race career maiden who barring accidents really ought to be filling the third placed spot. Up 7f in trip from his latest start at Kelso (2m1f good).
Thumped by the handicapper following a surprise success over hurdles at Newcastle in January (2m6f soft), and therefore no surprise that he's struggled since. Switched to fences now with the benefit of a hurdles pipe-opener at Ayr.
124 rated hurdler, so the clear pick of this trio at the weights. 3m on soft ground is no bother in the slightest, and has only the fences to jump in order to win; albeit a faller on his recent chasing debut at Wetherby.

Impossible to oppose VERY FIRST TIME with a clear round. His hurdles form is head and shoulders above the others, and he was in the process of having a major say on his chasing debut at Wetherby recently when falling at the second last fence and presenting the race to the Dan Skelton trained Some Invitation. Only Mcginty's Dream will be capable of picking up the pieces should such a similar 'disaster' happen to occur to the Tim Easterby trained long odds on favourite today.
