Has three wins and four seconds from 14 starts here. Has dropped below the mark which brought a C&D success in April and he appeared to be coming back to form last time.
Winner of six races at Dundalk and appeared to be coming to hand in a Southwell claimer last time. Should appreciate the quicker surface and the stable are in good form.
Not unduly penalised for her latest success and the runner-up went well enough on Saturday to give the form some foundation. Has been found another good opportunity and has to enter calculations.
Makes a belated handicap debut after 11 starts in maidens. Ground would have been against him but claims on his Newcastle second over this trip. Blinkers fitted and gets strong handling.
Hit a good patch of form in August/September but quieter since and last of all three weeks ago. Visor fitted.
Winner on this surface for William Haggas but has failed to progress and recent form gives him plenty to find despite a plunging handicap rating.
Has a C&D record of two wins and eleven seconds. Drawn to go close and evenly matched with Newstead Abbey on running here in August.
Good performance last time and a third to The Armed Man at Newcastle in March has him attractively weighted. Yard are 1-102 since September which makes his last run all the more commendable.
Winner of a C&D seller and scored in better company at Hamilton during the summer. Hard to fancy judged on his most recent starts in varied headgear.
C&D winner in January and has scored since at Lingfield and Nottingham. Looked ready for this extra furlong last time and handicapper has given him a chance so one for the shortlist.
Best efort came when third at Kempton in March from a poor draw. Not as good on turf since but claims back on an AW surface and with champion jockey booked. Visor fitted for the first time and of obvious interest.
Seems to like Thirsk where he landed a seller in September. Has gone the wrong way since joining his new yard and his AW efforts are not as good as those on turf.

Forecasts
Inlawed (2/1), Invincible Ridge (6/1), Hamish Mcgonagain (7/1), Essential (7/1), Arnarson (8/1), Newstead Abbey (10/1), Danish Duke (12/1), Indian Affair (20/1), Strategic Heights (20/1), Kachess (20/1), Fareeq (25/1), Mr Strutter (50/1), Control Centre (66/1)
Essential is one to check in the pre-race market given the booking of Silvestre De Sousa and the fitting of a visor. His best effort came at Kempton and he is not highly tried on his handicap debut. Hamish Mcgonagain is weighted to be thereabouts as is Invincible Ridge. Strategic Heights comes from the in form Jamie Osborne yard but INLAWED looks set to add to his recent successes. Ed Walker has done well with this type in the past and a 3lb rise for his latest victory seems generous enough. The gelding is a gutsy individual who is difficult to pass and he can continue on the upgrade.
