Won a couple last winter before finding hot handicaps at both Cheltenham and Aintree festivals beyond him. Only 1lb higher now than last winning mark and ran well on return before unseating latest. Not out of this if that not affected him.
High class a couple of years ago including third to Yorkhill in Neptune Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham but lost way since. Tailed off latest back over hurdles and now tried over much shorter trip. Hard to know if ability remains now.
Lost his way a little over fences last season but started this term with two good seconds over hurdles. Handicapper upping the pressure but no reason to think he won't go well again.
Return from a very long absence today and with a new trainer now. Hard to envisage him being ready for this although handicap mark possibly generous enough to chance his fitness.
Winner twice over hurdles so far but well beaten when last seen out in this sphere last December and a similar result in three Flat starts since joining this yard in the spring.
Won here when last seen over 2m5½f. 11lb higher now for reappearance which is her career high mark. Would be surprising if she were to win this.
Returned from 12 month absence latest when only beating one home at Ascot. That effort leaves some doubts but at his best he would be a big player off this mark.
Market Rasen novice winner last year who has been disappointing since and pulled up in three of last five races. Tongue-tie added here so that cause for some optimism at least.
Hacked up at long odds-on in UK debut at Hexham but showed very little in four subsequent handicaps. Mark now considerably lower and expect a better showing this time around.
Forecasts
Billbushay (2/1), Remiluc (7/2), Raven's Tower (6/1), Its'afreebee (13/2), Clayton (7/1), Great Tempo (14/1), Lettheriverrundry (20/1), Loves Destination (20/1), Ardamir (66/1)
RAVEN'S TOWER has started this campaign well back over hurdles and while his handicap continues to rise he still looks to have the most solid claims here. Top-weight Remiluc has a touch of class and should go well if feeling no ill effect from unseating last time out. It's hard to know how ready Billbushay will be first time out but there is no doubt he is on a fair mark at present.
