Plenty of promise in three starts last season before falling as odds-on fav at Towcester then flopping there next time. Recent reappearance again below par so a bit to prove but best form would give him a good chance.

Little to recommend in first five starts over hurdles but third last time out a better effort at Market Rasen. Maybe getting his act together now and open to improvement as youngest horse in the lineup.

Not disgraced in last four starts over hurdles. Ran well for a while at Plumpton last time out under front-running tactics before fading. Up in trip again although not certain that is what he needs at present.

Beaten 30L plus in all four starts to date and never really got involved in any of those races. Switched to handicaps for first time he has plenty to prove for the course top trainer.

First start for this stable for this former winning point-to-pointer. Form over hurdles largely uninspiring in Ireland until good third on final start. Handicap here 9lb higher but no surprise if she goes well.

Decent, albeit well beaten second here last Boxing Day his most recent hurdle run. Subsequently won a chase at Hereford before another second here over fences. 5lb lighter now over hurdles and chance if ready first time after layoff.

Still a maiden and his handicap mark continues to slide due to declining form. Last throughout and well beaten on return at Warwick. Not one to rely on but well treated if this one of his going days.

Largely uninspiring for previous trainer but ran really well on debut for this yard last month when third at Plumpton over 2m. Tried over trips up to 3m in past so this step up should suit. Looks like a leading player here.

Beaten 40L plus in all five hurdle starts. Handicapper taking rapid action but still hard to recommend him after another lacklustre effort last time out at Exeter.

Tailed off in all five hurdle races to date including handicap debut at Exeter last month when 12th of 14. Upped markedly in trip so there is at least a reason she could improve.

Age: 8|  Weight: 10-0| J: Brendan Powell| T: A E Jessop| OR:  64
200/1
Unplaced in all eleven starts over hurdles and races from 8lb out of the handicap here. Latest sixth of ten at Huntingdon one of her best efforts but unlikely to better that here.

Forecasts

Cheque En Blanc (5/4), Wells Gold (3/1), Dahills Hill (6/1), Quiz Master (8/1), Cry Wolf (14/1), Easter In Paris (16/1), Project Mars (20/1), Ballyantics (25/1), Time And Again (40/1), Nenergy's Quest (125/1), Choral Bee (200/1)

Verdict

This looks a decent opportunity for CHEQUE EN BLANC who ran well last time in his first start for Gary Moore. The step up in trip here ought to be of benefit and he is the one they all have to beat. Dangers include Quiz Master who ran well at Market Rasen latest with a change of tactics possibly helping and Easter In Paris who looks on a workable mark if she is fully wound up on return.
  1. Cheque En Blanc
  2. Quiz Master
  3. Easter In Paris
