Winner at Nottingham on debut (soft) but never a factor when attempting to follow up at Catterick last month. Plenty to prove just now.
Winners running through her bloodlines and introduced at a realistic level. Yard not quite firing though and probably going to be a lot better for the experience.
50,000 gns yearling that has yet to make an impact (never better than mid division in two previous starts) and makes limited appeal just at the moment.
Yard always respected with this type of contender and well worth a betting check for that fact alone. The filly is well related and can only benefit from the run. A name for the notebook.
Been well beaten in both previous starts and while she may improve for the switch to a new surface her future probably lays in modest handicap company at best. Others more appealing.
Third on debut at Leicester - pulled hard and left little in reserve for a finishing burst. Chance of making the frame in this company if settling better, though. Sound place claims.
Second at Windsor in July a solid performance for a debut run and she's likely to have a good bit more to offer. Yard excels at getting the best out of its youngsters as they grow, so has to be of interest of the market suggests she on the upgrade
Fourth on debut at Pontefract was just a fair effort given the way she capitulated near the finish. Likely more patient instructions will be the order of the day but she may do better over further in time.
Half-sister to the useful Lahore (a winner over 5f-7f) and from a highly respected yard. Highly positive jockey booking too, so plenty going for her as she makes her racecourse bow. Worth a betting check.
Raced with the pace on debut at Newbury and only done for toe 1f from the finish. The experience will have done her the power of good, however, and the Mayson filly would be dangerous to underestimate.
Solid performance on debut at Chelmsford and open to a good bit of improvement. Pleasing the way she picked up in the closing stages, so very feasible she'll be staying on when others have shied away. Strong place claims here.
Forecasts
Sooda (11/4), Wazin (3/1), Popsicle (7/2), Rizzle Dizzle (5/1), Two Weeks (8/1), Moretti (10/1), Crotchet (20/1), L'Age D'Or (33/1), Bella Ferrari (33/1), Glamorous Dream (66/1), Lady Sophiebella (200/1)
The penny dropped a little too for WAZIN to make a winning debut at Chelmsford earlier this month but the filly was fairly motoring home and caught the eye as a potential live-wire. She could take the beating with the experience to draw from. Sooda is a nicely-bred newcomer that could play a strong role if fully wound up this introduction to racing, while similar comments have to apply the L'age D'or, who represents a yard that does really well with its sprinters and has to merit a check in the betting.
- Wazin
- Sooda
- L'age D'or
