Rare debut winner for this yard at Salisbury. Confirmed the impression that looked a weak race when down the field at Lingfield and he looks vulnerable under a penalty.
Showed bags of stamina and a good attitude to score on heavy ground at Carlisle (7f). Got cut adrift here over C&D last time and her chances would depend on being able to lie closer to the pace this time.
Has missed the break and failed to figure on both starts. Looks one to leave alone until showing more.
Came in for heavy support last time and only found a previous winner too good. That rival has a BHA rating of 90 and that suggests his in form yard have found a good opportunity. Sire gets his share of AW winners.
Last of seven and tenth of eleven in tow starts. Things can only get better but this looks beyond him.
€17,000 yearling and related to five winners including Del Mar Oaks runner-up Beau Recall. Dam was a multiple middle-distance winner. Stable's juveniles generally need the run but that pedigree suggests a cautionary check of the market is advisable
€5,000 purchase by Zoffany out of an unraced dam. Yard don't get many debut winners and this filly may be aiming too high here.
Rip Van Winkle filly cost a mere 2,000 guineas but appears to have races in her judged on her last two runs. The latest came here over 9.5f when shaping as though she needed even further. Gets a useful weight concession and has to be considered.
Cost 20,000 gns and has plenty of winners in her pedigree. Has done nothing so far but her yard have been amongst the winners in the last few days.
Forecasts
Guvenor's Choice (10/11), Sassie (2/1), Ocean Voyage (6/1), N Over J (14/1), Capriolette (16/1), Destinys Rock (50/1), Balgowlah (50/1), Trick Shot Jenny (50/1), Wowsham (80/1)
GUVENOR'S CHOICE was heavily supported last time and this one time Champagne Stakes entry just found an in form and more experienced horse too good around Epsom. The stable have had an excellent year with their juveniles and, provided there is nothing sinister about his absence, this looks a very good opportunity to open his account. Sassie found a Godolphin hotpot too good last time but still makes some appeal in receipt of the allowances, whilst Ocean Voyage looks the pick of the previous winners.
