Horse A-Z
1
Horse silk
33/1
Winner on debut in a Fontwell bumper 2m1½f at 33/1 in the summer. Form not working great of that but could do no more than win it. Tougher under a penalty but still expecting a good show.
2
Horse silk
40/1
Vision D'Etat newcomer is half-sister to a 2m5f-2m6f hurdle winner out of a well related dam. Yard not prolific with bumper horses so best watched on debut.
3
Horse silk
80/1
Not without promise although well beaten in two bumpers for Alan King at the start of the year. Changed yards and significant improvement required to be involved.
4
Horse silk
6/1
£7,000 three year old buy. Sister to 2m-2m1f hurdle winner and half-sister to a point-to-point winner by Scorpion. Trainer in form and always respected in bumpers so can't be ruled out.

Charmayne
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Brendan Powell| T: S Edmunds
33/1
£7,000 foal by Shirocco is a sister to a bumper winner. Trainer has a few bumper winners so she may be capable of a good showing on debut.
6
Horse silk
50/1
Passing Glance newcomer is the first foal to race by an unraced dam related to flat winners. Trainer not generally known for bumper winners although started well in them this year. Others have more appealing pedigrees.
7
Horse silk
33/1
Makfi newcomer who cost 8,000gns last December. Sister to a hurdles winner and half-sister to three flat winners. Trainer in notably poor form at present so hard to fancy.
Cost £8,500 as a three year old. By Passing Glance and a half-sister to a bumper and hurdles winner at 2m. Trainer in form and had a couple of bumper winners thus far so market check required.
9
Horse silk
10/1
Authorized newcomer out of a bumper winner from the family of smart jumpers Drakness and Cantlow. Hooded on debut which is a concern and jockey bookings suggest she is stable second string.
10
Horse silk
7/1
Sixties Icon debutant is a half-sister to a 2m4f-2m7f hurdles winner and a winning point-to pointer. Looks stable pick on jockey bookings and yard in excellent form in bumpers this season so must merit serious consideration.
11
Horse silk
33/1
Filly by Midnight Legend, the sire of Sizing John. Half-sister to a bumper placed horse out of a dam who won at up to 3m1f over hurdles. Trainer one winner and 26 unplaced in 27 bumper runners so unlikely to be involved.

Horse silk
Miss Tyntet1334
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: T Scudamore| T: D Pipe| BF
4/1
Bought for £50,000 shortly after her excellent second in a 23 runner Punchestown bumper. Somewhat disappointing as favourite in a Carlisle bumper in first start for this yard next. Back from layoff for trainer in excellent form.

Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Aidan Coleman| T: A J Honeyball| BF
8/1
Winner of a three-runner point in April but disappointing under rules when fourth as odds-on favourite at Stratford. Should be better to come in time and tongue-tie could help.
14
Horse silk
20/1
Well beaten on debut at Taunton but much better 14 months later at Newton Abbot when second at 50/1. Had another layoff since but jockey booking looks interesting so not ruled out.
15
Horse silk
Samarayia177
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: James Davies| T: Henry Oliver
22/1
Ran well on lone start back in May when third of 14 at Worcester. Front pair pulled clear that day and form not franked so may need more but entirely possible given stables form at present.
16
Horse silk
Sensulano181
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: G Sheehan| T: Noel Williams
14/1
Improved on a fourth of 12 on debut when second of eight at Hexham in May. That among the best form here so should be involved.
Cost just €1,000 last year. Half-sister to a point-to-point winner by Getaway. Trainer has few runners or indeed winners and only one previous bumper winner so hard to suggest her.
18
Horse silk
Taras Day
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: R Johnson| T: H Whittington
8/1
£1,000 yearling by Kayf Tara, sister to a 2m3f and 2m4f hurdle winner and half-sister to a 3m2f chase winner. Trainer won three of 11 bumpers contested this year and champion jockey booked so suggest she will go well.

Forecasts

Miss Tynte (4/1), Champagne Poppy (6/1), Kimberley Point (7/1), My Dance (8/1), Taras Day (8/1), Smart Getaway (9/1), Hurricane Minnie (10/1), Diamond Gait (14/1), Sensulano (14/1), Neetside (20/1), Samarayia (22/1), Charmayne (33/1), Maggies Legend (33/1), Liz's Dream (33/1), Dancing Hearts (33/1), Bella's Vision (40/1), Chequered View (50/1), Cadeaux's Fire (80/1)

Verdict

A tricky race to close proceedings but likely to be informative nonetheless. It may pay to give MISS TYNTE another go for the in-form Pipe team. She may have had problems after her last run hence the lengthy absence but her Punchestown run was excellent form on debut. Samarayia and Sensulano offer among the best form to date while of a host of interesting newcomers the most likely sorts look to be Champagne Poppy, Kimberley Point, Taras Day and Diamond Gait. The market will guide as far as this quartet.
  1. Miss Tynte
  2. Samarayia
  3. Champagne Poppy
