Never the same for last trainer but switch to new yard latest saw reinvigorated effort when beaten just a head over C&D. 4lb rise for that still leaves him 4lb below last winning mark and could be back to that level now.

Gained only career win in first start for this yard back in May. Tried variety of trips with varying success since hit with 10lb hike for that victory. Lone AW run was a poor one when last so hard to fancy with no ease in rating.

2015 Wolverhampton AW winner ran one of her best races since last time when third to Indian Tomahawk (Koybig second). 2lb better off with re-opposing rival but not as open to further improvement.

Unsuccessful in nine starts for this trainer but handicap gradually slid to this mark where she ran a better third over 7f here last time. Each-way chance again.

Went backwards in three turf maidens but better effort on AW debut in September when a close sixth. 2lb ease helps and could go well here.

Over two years since he last won yet remains higher in the handicap than for that C&D success. Hard to fancy.

Gained third course success last time (second over C&D) when narrowly beating re-opposing Koybig. Rival may turn the tables with 2lb pull but foolish to write him off.

16 previous AW races haven't yielded success although ran best of three races for current yard on surface last time out. Handicap slipping and getting close to a competitive mark now.

Cork winner two starts ago and not disgraced on heavy ground latest when third of 18 at Navan. Still relatively unexposed and could yet prove capable off this sort of mark so merits serious consideration.

No positive impact in three maidens, including one here, and similar tale so far in both handicaps on turf. Leading jockey notable booking but draw tempers enthusiasm.

Unplaced in eleven career starts including three for current yard and little to draw any sort of inspiration from. First time tongue-tie would have to have dramatic effect.

Beaten by at least 19L in five career starts, all unplaced. Changed yard now and steps back in trip with first time cheek-pieces. Interesting if any of the changes help but hard to be confident.

5¼L eighth here last time (first time AW) was one of his better efforts and a 5lb drop looks generous based on that run. With first time cheek-pieces he could be ready to put in a career best.

Turf form is below average and only beat one rival home on AW debut earlier in the month with several of these ahead of her. Passed over.

Verdict

No shortage of options here but the improving three-year old AUNTY AUDREY offers the prospect of more to come now switched to AW so she looks one of the most likely solutions. Koybig split Indian Tomahawk and Turn On The Tears here last time and although there is little between them now with revised weights he has reason to suggest improvement. Ostaiocht hasn't achieved an awful lot so far but looks to have been treated generously by the handicapper and he could easily leave previous form behind now.

  3. Ostaiocht
