Not totally disgraced when finishing midfield to the useful Blairs Cove at Warwick in September but a backwards step last time out, and needs this for a handicap mark.
2
Horse silk
100/1
First run for the yard (formerly with Henry De Bromhead) but hasn't shown too much in a couple of starts. Likely that the yard will need a bit of time with him so passed over today.
3
Horse silk
50/1
Never in the hunt in bumpers at Perth and Exeter and looks one that simply needs more time. No realistic chance here.

Promise in both starts to date, and may well have needed the comeback run at Chepstow last time out after a six month break. Hurdles debut today so probably best watched, but a bit of market support would make him of more interest.

5/1
Definite signs of promise on Warwick debut and built on that when third at Clonmel next time out. Far form disgraced on first start for this yard when midfield in a hot little Market Rasen bumper last time and with ground to suit, could go close.

Yet to complete in two starts in point-to-points and hard to fancy on that. First start for new yard and can only be watched.
Sent off big prices on both starts but has shown some rather wayward tendencies, and to that end, no surprise to see the hood employed today. Some ability there if it does do the trick, but on balance, others look stronger.

Nice pedigree and related to plenty of jumps winners, but yard rarely have first time out winners and are in poor form at present, so has those negatives to overcome. Best watched today.

Good looking horse that showed some ability at Fontwell last time out, getting outpaced but sticking to the task well enough to finish fifth. Will improve on that but may need further before we see him at his best.

Has shown little in two starts and Warwick and hard to see where the necessary improvement is coming from if he's to get involved here.

Improved on each start last season, winning one at Southwell (form okay) and then finishing midfield in a hot race at Newbury. Well related and although further will suit in time, not ruled out if jumping fluently on hurdles debut today.

In good hands and looks to be getting the hang of things based on his midfield finishes on his last two starts, catching the eye just off the pace at Ludlow latest. Yard had a big priced winner here at last meeting and this one needs a market check.

Not a bad effort when third to Resolution Bay here in April but didn't build on that when well beaten at Exeter when last seen. Break may have done her good but still looks one for handicaps all the same.
15
Horse silk
9/1
First start for this yard after winning a small point-to-point at Bartlemy in May, likely to find this too sharp a test and is best watched today.

Forecasts

The Last Day (15/8), Run To Milan (2/1), Mahlermade (9/2), Mon Eldorado (5/1), The Crazed Moon (9/1), Vado Forte (10/1), Hoola Hula (12/1), Cap Du Nord (14/1), Shillingsworth (16/1), Pointed And Sharp (25/1), Ring Minella (25/1), Get Wishing (50/1), Ollie Vaar (66/1), Tanacando (66/1), Gabriel Archer (100/1)

Verdict

RUN TO MILAN looks the best option here. His win over the useful Lalor stands head and shoulders above what most of these have achieved so far and it's probably best to forgive his Aintree effort where he pulled too hard. If repeating the Wincanton effort he must go close. The Last Day represents a yard that do well here and looks likely to progress this season. He can prove the main danger. Vado Forte needs a look in the market, with Tom Lacey having a 25/1 maiden hurdle winner at the last meeting.
