Has steadily progressed through his three starts so far and outran his odds at Kempton last time to finish a good third. May find things tricky here off this mark for his handicap debut, however.
Ran one highly promising race (at Haydock) in between two poorer efforts in novice heats, and makes his handicap debut here. Would be a player here if replicating that form shown at Haydock.
Below par on the third of his three runs in novice company and steps up in trip again for this handicap debut. Should be capable of running a big race off this opening mark.
Much better after having been stepped up to this trip in novice/maiden company, and looks a likely player here from a handy draw if able to build on that form off a workable opening handicap mark.
Not beaten too far on handicap debut at Yarmouth when last seen, and steps up in trip here. Top apprentice keeps the ride and down 2lb he could be well treated here.
Ran some fair races in maiden/novice events over shorter than this but needs to step up on this switch to handicap company, and others hold more convincing claims.
Has played only a minor role in four novice races to date (even when managing to finish third at Nottingham in June) and is difficult to build a case for on this handicap debut.
Capable performer on his day but has had plenty of chances by now and needs to bounce back from a very poor performance last time out and a short-priced defeat the time before.
Not disgraced in three novice/maiden races up to now and at least seems consistent, but that level of form would likely see her come up short here.
0/6 so far, one of the more exposed contenders in the field and has rarely shown much ability in any of her races. Readily passed over once again.
Somewhat unlucky not to have gotten off the mark yet but should prefer these conditions to the 6f on heavy he experienced at Ffos Las last time out. Remains on the same mark and requires consideration.
Steps up to this trip for the first time having struggled over shorter, and needs to find more improvement than is probably feasible for the additional furlong.
Forecasts
Frostbite (9/2), Mister Maestro (5/1), Helen Sherbet (6/1), Kheleyf's Girl (6/1), Global Spirit (7/1), Obrigada (8/1), Surfa Rosa (10/1), Prime Chief (14/1), Foxrush Take Time (14/1), Medici Oro (16/1), Silvington (16/1), Diamond Express (25/1)
This could be MISTER MAESTRO's chance to get off the mark. Richard Hannon's charge ran three creditable races in novice/maiden company and seems to have the perfect opportunity here to make a winning start to his handicapping career off what should be a workable mark. Stablemate Surfa Rosa may pose the main danger now stepping up in trip, with Frostbite, like the selection a handicapping newcomer, also feared.

- Surfa Rosa
