Won twice over this trip last year, but has not managed to get his head in front since then. Well held on recent runs and is hard to make a case for despite his fall in the weights.
Only win came on turf at Chepstow, but she shaped well on the AW when second at Wolverhampton last time. Claims off a 1lb higher mark.
Four-race maiden when trained by Owen Burrows, and only run for this yard saw him well held in a 1m Chelmsford handicap. Drop in trip may help, as may a 3lb lower mark, but he has plenty to prove in a first-time tongue tie.
Has run well without winning in four starts for current trainer and is 1lb lower than when finishing a creditable 2L fifth of 12 over 1m at this track two starts ago. Ran well again at Wolverhampton last time an has solid claims.
Win twice at this track during a three-race winning streak in September, but the handicapper took his revenge and he has been well beaten on his last two starts. Down 2lb, but probably needs more help.
Landed a 6f handicap at this track in March, but has been winless over 6f-1m since. Now 5lb lower than for his last success and is a winner over C&D. Clear chance if putting his best foot forward.
Has been running respectably without threatening to win and handicapper has been slow to ease her in the weights. Others are more appealing.
Shed his maiden tag when a clear-cut winner of a Leicester seller in first--time blinkers on latest outing. Makes his first appearance for this trainer and the headgear is retained. Worthy of respect now he has got his head in front.
Won a Southwell handicap when trained by Clive Cox, but first run for this stable saw him finish in mid-division at Brighton in a first-time visor. That was his first run for over nine months and he may be sharper now.
Best effort in three runs in maiden company came in the last of them at Yarmouth in June. Has been given a break before competing in her first handicap. Interesting.
Still looking for his first win after 27 attempts, but has run creditably on all three starts for current handler and ran with plenty of credit when second at Wolverhampton last time. Chance off the same mark, but lack of wins diminishes confidence.
Has won four times on the AW, including over C&D. Not at his best in recent outings and although inching back down the weights, he has questions to answer.
Won twice over 6f at Southwell in March, but has struggled recently and is back on the same mark as for his last success. Chance on the ratings, but needs to show his effectiveness on this surface.
After three runs in maidens he was switched to handicap company at this track and obliged in good style over 6f. He was not beaten far off 6lb higher when tried at 7f at this track last time, and another 3lb rise looks harsh.
Forecasts
Spirit Of Belle (9/2), Spinnaka (9/2), Treacherous (6/1), Haraz (6/1), Murdanova (7/1), Chetan (10/1), Dutiful Son (10/1), Wicker (14/1), Mister Freeze (20/1), First Experience (20/1), Muhajjal (25/1), Viva Verglas (50/1), Arlecchino's Leap (50/1), Bridge Builder (66/1)
A tight handicap which may go to the unexposed WICKER, who shaped well in her last maiden contest in June and runs in a handicap for the first time. Spirit Of Belle can figure after winning a seller decisively last time, while others with claims include Haraz, Spinnaka and Viva Verglas.
