Headgear goes back on after he was disappointing on his return at Uttoxeter (jumped poorly). Has won in point-to-points but yet to really convince over fences and looks far from an easy ride.
Modest form over fences and went in snatches on his handicap debut here in March. Appeared to show some progress on his next start also here over shorter but failed to build on that in another event here last time.
Winning point-to-pointer whose best form over hurdles was modest to say the least although he could be better over fences. Didn't look to offer much on his fencing debut but may have needed the run; better expected here.
Has shown very little over fences so far and was pulled-up last time out and the addition of cheekpieces will need to work a miracle here. Market support would have to be noted though.
Poor form over hurdles has continued over fences with a break last time out not adding any sparkle. Jumping left a lot to be desired and even off this lowly mark his chance looks limited.
The change of stable appears to have brought about some small steps forward over fences (well backed on debut). Tough task last time out but showed something and is of interest here off a basement mark.
Forecasts
Powerful Symbol (15/8), Gorran Haven (11/4), Brown Trix (7/2), Killare Castle (8/1), Log On (12/1), Smiling Jessica (14/1), Goosen Maverick (16/1)
Another race that won’t take a lot of winning and a chance is taken with BROWN TRIX who comes from a yard who know what they are doing with this type and he might be able to prevail over Powerful Symbol. Most of the others have yet to show much over fences with Log On having less convictions than most although Gorran Haven could yet be worthy of another chance.
