Fine effort on return here over 7f only beaten a length into fourth. 6f just as suitable so if he doesn't bounce he ought to be a leading player.
Won eight times here. First start for new yard after a layoff since a below par effort when last seen. Handicap mark holds no terror at present so if back to form he should be winning races again in near future.
No less than 26 races this year thus far. Not won since June and still 3lb higher than that mark so tough ask particularly after latest two moderate runs.
¾L behind Grey Danube when last seen finishing sixth. No obvious reason for turnaround off same weights although obviously wouldn't take much.
Held in high regard by connections who have set him some stiff tasks including latest Listed contest. Handicap reappearance before that was respectable and he should go well now 2lb lower and likely fitter.
Won a Curragh handicap in August but found life tougher since after 10lb penalty. Slight relent from handicapper not enough to suggest him at present.
Third behind re-opposing St Brelades Bay in August but out of form since. Needs first run on AW in 18 month to inspire a revival.
Seems much better on AW and ran an excellent race when last seen here, beaten 1L into 3rd and leaving the impression he would be better still over 6f. Off same mark he has excellent claims.
¾L third at Navan on heavy going latest easily his best effort since quick fire double in the summer. Only previous AW run was OK so no reason he shouldn't go well here.
A win and a second from two previous AW starts. 3¼L behind Ducky Mallon in August and placed in three 5f runs since. Same mark here and no reason he won't go well once more given liking for surface.
7¼L eighth last time here over 7f would leave her with plenty to do but leading jockey booked and blinkered for first time so no surprise to see an improved showing.
Won on the beach at Laytown when last seen and indeed all eight wins came on AW/sand. Runner up the last day won next time off 2lb higher so this once high class gelding should remain competitive with an extra 4lb.
Won at Fairyhouse on debut back in September 2015 in a two-year-old maiden on good to yielding ground. Recent form below the required although this surface should suit better.
Well behind Ducky Mallon last time in a race won by Maarek on heavy going. Previously ran well twice here so return to surface will benefit but now 3lb higher and this highly competitive.

My Good Brother (7/2), Have A Nice Day (4/1), Alfredo Arcano (4/1), Silk Cravat (9/2), Rivellino (6/1), Ice Cold In Alex (7/1), Grey Danube (15/2), Geological (8/1), Mo Henry (10/1), Togoville (12/1), Ducky Mallon (12/1), Golden Pearl (20/1), Confrontational (22/1), St Brelades Bay (25/1), Rattling Jewel (25/1), Little Clarinet (25/1)
In a highly competitive handicap few can boast claims as strong as ALFREDO ARCANO who powered home over 5f here last time. This extra furlong will surely help and off the same mark he looks sure to go well. Rivellino remains one who always merits respect on this surface and his recent win has worked out well. Grey Danube is also one of the biggest dangers based on his excellent effort on reappearance and this drop in trip will be no problem.
- Alfredo Arcano
- Rivellino
- Grey Danube
