Overcame a similar welter-burden over C&D latest and will surely go well again. Given a bit of time to recover and looks the one to beat.

Won one of 20 in the UK. New trainer takes over here at a good time as he looks to be close now to a good handicap mark but having never raced over any distance but 5f today's trip is a total unknown.

Gained first win since two-year old days last time out at Navan where he won very easily considering the 18 runner field. 12lb extra limits his appeal although he could be a different proposition now.

Gained overdue compensation for several good efforts when winning over 7f here last time. 6lb rise now and he is yet to win over 1m although he has run well over it several times in a 61 race career.

Treble in late 2015 and early 2016 his last wins. Handicap continues to fall but little evidence of late that he is ready to take advantage.

Only beat one rival in last three starts early this season. Back from a layoff and now gelded. Hard to make a case for currently.

Unplaced in 11 career starts but looked to be going right way with two close up efforts at Killarney (1m) and Navan (1m2f) before disappointing latest in deep ground. Expecting better here on this sounder surface.

Won a moderate claimer here last time out well enough but found similar marks beyond him in handicaps lately and likely to prove the case once more.

Disappointing up to 1m2f last time but previously consistent for last 12 months albeit without success. Handicapper keeps the pressure on so again more an each way prospect.

Lone win came at Chelmsford which earned him a peak rating of 75. Unplaced in six starts in Ireland since stable change and rating continues to plummet.

Generally campaigned over 1m2f or similar of late although without success. Drop in trip not unduly worrying and she hasn't been running badly of late. Connections out of form and wide draw.

6lb better off with Midnitemudcrabs who beat her 3¾L in a claimer last time out over 7f. The form of that race unlikely to be enough here.

Verdict

Despite carrying top-weight YAMATO can win again here. The form of his latest C&D win also with top-weight has worked out well and he will take all of the beating. Jessica Harrington has two interesting three-year olds here but the draw of Misty Mountain is a concern so One Liner is preferred having appeared to be going the right way prior to meeting very soft ground last time. Few have won more impressively than Il Piccolo Grande last time but the handicapper takes action to make life significantly tougher.
