Two runs since injury enforced layoff and latest was promising when he finished well into fifth of 14 beaten 1¾L. Back up to 1m for first time since debut last summer and looks capable of going well.
Third of ten in a 7f claimer here last week and now tries 1m for first time. Fitted with blinkers for first time and if they help she could easily be involved.
Won over 1m here last winter and ran well twice since layoff over 7f here. Unlucky 1¼L fourth latest and lost at least a length so 1lb rise no worry. Drawn on the wing but could overcome that.
Well beaten on handicap debut but heavy ground probably didn't suit so that run best forgotten. Just average efforts in maidens before so may still prove high enough in weights but expecting better.
Ran some good races over 1m on turf this summer so back up to this trip she should prove capable of bettering last month's eighth although she still has to prove capability off current mark.
Maiden of 11 races tries AW for first time more in hope than expectation at present. Fourth off same mark last twice but best efforts generally come at shorter distances and connections out of form.
13 race maiden has looked a non stayer every time she has attempted this trip and therefore rates a very risky proposition.
Beaten out of sight on recent handicap debut at Listowel. Back on AW here and looked marginally better on surface when last seen but lots to prove off this mark at present.
Beaten over 10L in all career starts and handicap debut last week saw him beaten 35L albeit he probably didn't handle heavy ground. Limited ability shown thus far.
Showed moderate ability in three 6f maidens for Kevin Ryan and now upped to 1m and fitted with first time visor for new trainer. No guarantees that any of these changes will help.
C&D winner here in August but well held here off 7lb higher mark last twice and surprising handicapper is yet to relent.
Showed decent form in first two starts last season but very little since. Handicap tumbling and switched to AW but leap of faith required at present.
2lb out of the handicap here and well beaten in all seven career starts. Cheek-pieces added but yet to show even a hint of ability.
Forecasts
Sheisdiesel (5/2), Delegating (9/2), Cloudy Miss (7/1), Melisandre (7/1), Settle For Bay (15/2), Althiba (8/1), Wild Shot (14/1), Latchet (20/1), Above Us Only Sky (20/1), Mr Shelby (25/1), Calypso Jo (33/1), De Mazzaro (50/1), Favorite Story (66/1)
Despite a far from ideal draw SHEISDIESEL gets the nod after two good runs here. The return to 1m will suit and she looks fairly treated after her latest unlucky fourth. Settle For Bay is respected third time back after a layoff and looks like he will be ideally suited by 1m. Also likely to be involved is Melisandre and first-time blinkers make her an interesting proposition.
- Sheisdiesel
- Settle For Bay
- Melisandre
