Looks sure to run a decent race especially judged on the back of her 4th over C&D recently. The one worry is that she hasn't won for quite some time and we may get another placed effort in this.

Made a winning hurdles debut last December at Plumpton but he looks to have struggled since and looks to be going the wrong way. Well beaten last time on a return from a break and looks best watched here.

Starlight Courtt26
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-2| J: C Poste| T: C E Longsdon| OR:  107| BF
7/2
Ran well enough for the Skelton yard last year with several placed efforts to his name but often spoils his chance by racing rather freely and looks hard to win with. Makes his second start for his current yard and another placed effort may be on the cards.

Twice a winner over C&D and a three-time course winner in total and has in the past lived up to his name by finishing strongly to take races. Looks rather out of sorts of late though and others preferred here.

Global Thrillt8

A fall in the weights appears to be the catalyst for some improved form of late as he's landed his last two starts. Faces a stiffer task off a 9lb higher mark here but has run off higher marks in the past and far from out of this as he bids for a hat-trick.

Bobble Borut124
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-12| J: Stan Sheppard(3)| T: M Sheppard| OR:  103| C
11/2
Out-and-out front runner who ran well off a break when second at Worcester on her return to action. She's not really built on that though in two subsequent starts and would need to bounce back here.

Udogo29
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-9| J: Brendan Powell| T: B G Powell| OR:  100
40/1
Useful on the Flat in the past who looks to have regressed since going hurdling and has yet to show anything like a competitive streak for this yard. Would be a surprise winner of this given his recent form.

Forecasts

Ivor's Queen (9/4), Global Thrill (11/4), Starlight Court (7/2), Bobble Boru (11/2), Templier (8/1), Thundering Home (20/1), Udogo (40/1)

Verdict

Not an awful lot of strength in depth here and it may well be that a 9lb rise won’t stop GLOBAL THRILL from competing a hat-trick with no progressive sorts in opposition. Ivor’s Queen will run her usual sound race but is hardly a winning machine and plenty of the others look out of sorts on their current form. Bobble Boru would be dangerous with an easy lead if she bounced back to her Worcester form while Starlight Court would have a much better chance if he settled in a race rather than running rather freely.
  1. Global Thrill
  2. Starlight Court
  3. Ivor's Queen
