An improved performer since switched to hurdles, but the winning run ended when beaten in a match at Worcester a couple of weeks ago (2m good to firm), and theoretically should be slightly out of his depth, despite the small field.
Beaten 6L on just his second hurdles start by Defi Du Seuil at Aintree in April (2m1f good), and has been well placed to win twice in novice company since, including recently at Bangor. On the up and clearly of major interest.
Solid in his own grade since leaving the care of Mark Johnston, winning a bumper, two novice hurdles and on the Flat for this trainer. Effective on any ground, but hopefully not bottomed out after a poor ride (overly strong pace) on the Flat latest.
Rated in the 80's on the Flat for Mark Johnston, but has taken well to hurdles for new connections, winning at both Roscommon (maiden) and Bellewstown (novices) over the summer; and a 5L runner up to the promising Le Richebourg at Galway latest.

The defection of Defi Du Seuil gives the connections of these runners a golden opportunity to land a valuable early season prize. On all known form, the progressive BEDROCK looks the horse with by far the strongest claims. He finished 6L third to Defi Du Seuil at Aintree in April, and that was some effort on just his second ever hurdles start. With his trainer firing in a regular supply of winners all summer, he should comfortably come out on top of the Irish raider Twobeelucky.
