Victorious over an extended 1m7f at Wincanton (soft) in March but well held fifth on her return to action earlier this month. Vulnerable carrying a penalty today.
Point-to-point winner but held in two starts since finishing third in an Ascot (soft) bumper in February. Making her debut over hurdles today.
Unraced daughter of Beat Hollow and a half-sister to winning hurdler Minella Charm. Worth a check in the market on her racecourse debut.

Fair fifth on debut and improved markedly on that when finishing runner-up over an extended 2m at Market Rasen (good) on debut at the end of last month. One for the shortlist if repeating that effort.

Ran well to finish fifth in a Listed mares bumper at Sandown (soft) in March and a decent effort when runner-up on hurdling debut at Market Rasen (good) last month. One for the shortlist today.
Signs of ability in four starts so far but beaten 24L at Towcester (good-to-firm) last time out and likely to be of more interest once tackling handicaps.

Fair efforts in three bumpers and a maiden hurdle so far most recently when fourth at Towcester (good-to-firm) earlier this month. More needed if she's to take this however.

Well beaten in a Taunton (good-to-firm) bumper when making her debut in the spring. Probably best watched on her hurdles debut.
Promising second on debut for Micky Hammond last December but disappointed in two starts for this yard including on hurdles debut at Warwick (good) earlier this month.
Finished runner-up in three point-to-points and stepped up on rules debut when finishing sixth over hurdles at Uttoxeter (2m, soft) last time. Unproven on good ground.

Forecasts

Melangerie (9/4), Peggies Venture (11/4), Molly Childers (11/4), David's Phoebe (10/1), Anndarrow (16/1), All Currencies (20/1), Tangley (20/1), Odello (40/1), Nicely Done (50/1), Reine Des Miracles (50/1), Miss Adventure (50/1), Shroughmore Lass (66/1), Miss Clyro (100/1), Queens Cloak (100/1), Monrocco (100/1)

Verdict

MOLLY CHILDERS made a satisfactory start to her hurdling career when finishing thid at Market Rasen and she can break her maiden here for in form trainer Stuart Edmunds (2/6). The selection placed in three of her attempts at bumpers and can see off David's Phoebe who finished runner-up and one place ahead of the selection in the aforementioned Market Rasen contest while dual bumper winner Melangerie represents a leading stable here and may prove best of the rest.
  1. Molly Childers
  2. David's Phoebe
  3. Melangerie
