Has failed to hit the frame in five starts, four of them over this distance. Looks to have plenty on his plate.
Improved on his debut run when a good second of 16 at Naas. That display entitles him to consideration given there is more improvement on the cards.
Finished behind Gottardo on his debut at Naas and was sent off favourite when only sixth of nine at the same track on his next start after being gelded, He may have found 6f on soft ground testing his stamina, so the return to 5f is no surprise.
Gelded son of Swiss Spirit who cost €40,000 as a yearling and whose dam won over 5f as a two-year-old. Speedy pedigree, so worth a check in the market on debut fitted with a hood.
Placed over 6f and 7f when trained by Brendan Duke. Sets out for a new trainer over the minimum trip in a first-time visor and tongue tie.
War Front filly who is a sister to 6f juvenile winner Leo Minor. Ran a nice race when fourth to a shorter-priced stable companion over 6f on debut at Naas and looks sure to improve.
Full sister to 2016 Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Jet Setting so has plenty to live up to. Likely to need the experience on debut, but certainly worth keeping an eye on in the betting.
Reckless Abandon filly who cost 50,000 gns at the breeze-ups and whose dam was Group-placed and closely related to several sprint winners. Last of 10 on debut at Goodwood when trained by Archie Watson, she is now in the care of another trainer.
Well held on both starts at Limerick and Naas. Drops to the minimum trip with plenty to prove and is best watched.

Forecasts
Cheering (11/10), The Broghie Man (5/2), Soffia (11/4), Gottardo (7/2), It's All A Joke (9/1), Early Call (16/1), Mm Sixsevei (16/1), Shimmy Shoes (33/1), Sine Pari (33/1), Mean Fomhair (40/1), Venus Starr (50/1)
There will be plenty of interest in the debut run of Jet Setting's sister Mean Fomhair and she is considered along with fellow debutant Sine Pari. Both may need the experience, though, so the ones to concentrate on are Soffia, Gottardo, It's All A Joke, The Broghie Man and CHEERING. The selection showed a good deal of promise on debut and looks certain to take a step forward.
- Cheering
- Soffia
- Gottardo
