Favourite last time out when a well beaten seventh of 13 at Gowran Park last month. Some good form including second at Killarney on penultimate start but not looked as effective with cut in the ground.
Several good efforts in handicaps since two-year absence including finishing fourth of 13 beaten 3L last time out at Dundalk when slightly unlucky. Looks capable of another good run.
All out to win at Limerick on heavy ground by a short-head latest. Showed wellbeing and liking for these conditions but 8lb hike looks harsh for such a narrow win.
Glimpses of ability in maiden company but well held over 1m4f at Dundalk and Naas earlier this month. Unplaced so far and hard to get excited about her at present.
Unplaced in five starts to date, all at big prices. Handicapper not in a rush to make life easier so best watched for now.
Has generally disappointed over the summer producing a series of below-par performances. Hard to fancy and others preferred.
Disappointed in three maidens over a variety of distances but showed plenty of promise last time out at Roscommon on handicap debut, finishing second of 15 beaten ¾L over 1m4f and will look to build on that run.
First run of the season but could be well treated with a big step up in trip and off a low rating. That said new trainer not had a flat winner in over five years.
Unplaced in three maidens before a 29L 10th on handicap debut at Roscommon. Impossible to make a case for at this stage.
Well beaten and no impression in two maiden hurdles recently with nothing to shout about on the Flat before that. Hard to fancy given form to hand.
Dual-purpose maiden has rarely threatened although he hasn't been disgraced in recent flat runs. Top jockey takes the ride and in such an ordinary contest he will probably be thereabouts.
Won over hurdles in April but shade disappointing over timber since. Won off this mark on the level in the past in bottomless ground and not to be ruled out here.
Well beaten in six career starts to date and now stepped up quite dramatically in trip. Hard to make a case for at this stage.
28 race dual-purpose maiden who has never even placed in 11 flat races. Probably better than when last seen on level but would certainly need to be.
Well beaten off over 1m4f on AW in November, before subsequent heavy defeats at Dundalk and Limerick recently. Looks a tall order on form shown.
Beaten 20L plus in last four races so no surprise his handicap mark is in freefall. Impossible to recommend him in current form.
Well beaten in all three maidens and has shown nothing in two starts in handicaps. Hard to fancy on all known form.

Despite the big field here the shortlist is indeed very short. A much improved effort by Jim Bolger's VOCAL RESURGENCE last time out is enough to believe he is worth taking a chance on with few miles on the clock. High Kicker has been running as well as any lately and should again be involved and Weightfordave is another who has been competitive in races of this nature recently.
