Promising runs the last twice at the Curragh and at Listowel when third of nine beaten 1¾L behind Not A Bad Oul Day last month. One for the shortlist.
Performances over the summer have not been as bad as a number of the finishing positions suggest. Others preferred.
C&D winner on debut at this meeting last term. Well beaten and no impression in two second-rate starts this season. Tough ask and others preferred.
Won Listowel maiden in heavy ground this time last year over 7f, flattered to deceive in two runs over 1m earlier in the season, before suffering heavy defeats in his last two starts. Vast improvement needed to figure.
Had produced a win and a second in the spring before finishing sixth of eight beaten 5L in a Naas handicap in May as beaten favourite. Improvement expected now back up in trip.
Produced two fine wins in the spring at Naas and the Curragh over 7f and a 1m. Well beaten when stepped up in trip last time out in June. May find this tough.
Has been producing solid and consistent performances over the summer without winning and deserves a change of luck. Could be dangerous now back on a winning mark.
Gelding that has found it tough going over the summer since a gutsy 3¾L defeat at the Curragh in July. Looks a tall order on form shown.
Owner/trainer are having a fine couple of days.
Won maiden at the Galway festival over an extended 1m on soft ground. Beaten at Roscommon when dropped in trip before disappointing at Listowel last month when beaten 26L. Others hold stronger profiles.
Distance winner who has produced two solid performances this month, running well at Tipperary and Naas. May appreciate the drop in trip.
Distance winner back in June and has enjoyed a fairly solid and consistent season without winning before a disappointing defeat last time out finishing over 9L behind the winner. May appreciate the return to 1m.
Won at Dundalk earlier this month on the AW following a consistent summer running between 7f and 1m. C&D winner, 8lb lower than last winning mark and one for the each-way punters. Winner of this race last year.
Won over 9½f at Gowran Park in September and has found himself out of luck since. More needed but can hit the frame.

Plough Boy who has been producing solid and consistent performances over the summer without winning and deserves a change of luck and Stormingin, now back to optimum trip can both grab a place while the Ger Lyons-trained GOLD SPINNER is the selection running a cracker finishing third of nine beaten 1¾L behind Not A Bad Oul Day last month.
