First two runs for new stable produced praiseworthy efforts over this C&D, before a tame effort 10 days ago on turf at Nottingham. Back here off a very workable mark and goes on the shortlist.
Has not won for over two years and is 0-9 on AW surfaces, though has shaped with promise on multiple occasions, including recently at Kempton (1m) and Chelmsford (7f). On a decent mark if handling this longer journey.
Has done his winning at Southwell but solid effort over this C&D last month when 1½L second of 12, runs off the same mark now and has potential on that evidence.
Won just one of his 35 starts, success coming over a mile at Chelmsford in November 2015. Couple of recent efforts at that track have offered encouragement.
Broke maiden at the 20th attempt when gamely landing 1m heavy-ground handicap at Ayr eight days ago. Cheekpieces are added now but doesn't look an obvious contender to follow up switched to AW.
Precious few positives in four runs to date, a bumper and three maidens, beating just two rivals home in total. AW bow at Chelmsford over 7f brought a near 15L defeat. Makes handicap debut up significantly in trip.
Successful three times on the AW in the past but no positives to reports from seven runs this year on AW/turf and change of scenery will have to have dramatic effect now debuting for this trainer.
Both of his wins were on Dundalk's AW track all the way back in 2014, David O'Meara couldn't get him to fire in seven AW starts over a variety of trips and similarly poor in three turf starts for latest trainer.
Unplaced in four AW starts, with best effort arriving over 6f at Kempton in August. First time beyond the mile here and watching brief looks safest option unless money arrives.
Filly of fairly limited ability on what she has shown so far, won a 7f Newcastle AW maiden in November 2016, struggled most since, including three AW handicaps and is passed over again.
Filly suffered wide-margin defeat in three maidens and similar fate when making handicap debut over 7f at Thirsk (good to firm) in July. Off since, she has major improvement to find off this 5lb lower mark.
Filly has had plenty goes now and unable to land a telling blow from basement rating, most recently over 7f here on debut for this yard a fortnight ago when going down by 10L. Others readily preferred.

Hot Mustard (5/1), Peny Arcade (11/2), Dukes Meadow (6/1), Eium Mac (6/1), Sir Lancelott (6/1), The King's Steed (8/1), Cookie Ring (17/2), Lesanti (10/1), Subotal (16/1), Whip Up A Frenzy (16/1), Joyful Dream (16/1), Hazell Berry (33/1), Maid In Brittain (50/1)
Hot Mustard is yet to win on an artificial surface but has shaped well recently at Kempton and Chelmsford and may make a bid here over a longer trip while The King's Steed comes here off a breakthrough success at Ayr in which he was nothing if not gutsy, though this will be tough on revised terms. Eium Mac was second over C&D last month, showing he can go well on Tapeta having previously done his winning at Southwell but SIR LANCELOTT has twice run well over C&D since joining Adrian Nicholls and with cheekpieces back on and 4lb extra in hand now, could be up to landing a blow.
- Sir Lancelott
- Eium Mac
- Hot Mustard
