In cracking form earlier in the year on the AW winning four times in all over this sort of trip but flopped badly on two 7f turf runs since coming back from a break and hard to fancy on that evidence.
Maiden winner at this track in July last year but has been most disappointing in three outings so far this term and is easily passed over for now as a result.
Winner over extended-mile at Nottingham in June off a mark of 64, not out of this by any means but might be better suited over further.
Mare in flying form this year, with three wins and two runner-up finishes from her six starts. Scored last time out at Ripon over a mile and with rider's claim has every chance to go well again off short break.
Cost €50,000 as a yearling, but was no match for Ettu on debut over 6f at Newcastle in January (AW). Brought along slowly since, but returned an improved performer last time, landing a 6f maiden here. Unexposed, and a fair mark for handicap bow.
Winner of two race this year, including here over 6f on good ground in April and again over 7f (soft) at Catterick in August. Just 4lb above previous winning mark and has gone well from higher mark since, chance on these terms.
A fair handicapper on his day but has gone 16 runs without a win, performed better on third start for this handler at Pontefract 11 days ago when 7½L third of 16 and placed claims again off same mark.
Just one win from ten career starts but has knocked on the door all three starts for this yard so far, including over his C&D in August. Blinkers are fitted now and should be right in the firing line again.
Likeable and consistent performed who won over 1m (good to firm) at Musselburgh in August and again went close at Beverley latest (7½f, soft) recently. Shortlisted for this.
Just the three starts so far, runner-up most recently in maiden over 6f here last month (behind Van Velde). Cheekpieces added for handicap bow and is worth paying attention to in the betting.
Has six wins on his CV, four on turf, but has been out of sorts on his last five starts. Last victory was achieved almost two years ago and although the handicapper has given him a chance, others have stronger claims.
Filly yet to make the frame in four starts, very tame on recent AW bow at Kempton in a 1m handicap and has plenty to prove at the moment.
Made all impressively to score over C&D in September, but hasn't been in the same form either run since. Needs to bounce back.
Sole success was over C&D (good to firm) in May from a 10lb higher mark. Held in most starts since but promising again when second behind all the way winner Rose Eclair latest back here.
Now 12lb below last winning mark and some hints that he could take advantage at some point although he is far from consistent.
Experienced campaigner, scored here over 1m in August off a mark of 61, been well held all starts since however and may find this big field tough.

Recent 6f course maiden winner Van Velde is much respected going up in distance and remaining open to further progression off a workable opening mark, while Rose Eclair could bounce back at this track where she won in pleasing style last month from the front. Another former C&D winner, Grinty, was not far behind then as he showed his liking for the track and he remains attractively weighted based on his May success. ESSENTIAL caught the eye behind Van Velde here last time and, with cheekpieces added and that fitness on his side, the lightly-raced Pivotal gelding may get off to a winning start in handicaps.
