High Chaparral colt from the family of Oaks winner Diminuendo. Not without promise on debut at Newcastle, but looks a potential middle-distance performer for next year.
Frankel colt, cost $325,000 as a yearling and re-sold for 250,000 gns, plenty appeal on paper but showed inexperience on debut at Newmarket (1m, good) 13 days ago. Likely to come on for that effort.
Just the two runs, showing a bit more recently in 1m novice auction at York on good ground, though still left with a chunk of improvement to find here.
Had shown promise both starts prior to flop in 28-runner Newmarket contest (6f, good) a fortnight ago. This is more likely to suit and much respected restored to calmer waters.
Derby-entered colt by Teofilo out of a lightly-raced dam, cost €235,000 as a yearling. Good second on debut at Sandown recently over a mile and likely to improve for it. Can go close.
Shamardal colt is a brother to 1m winner Cloudy Miss, has plenty suggestion of stamina in pedigree and newcomer worth noting here.
Mastercraftsman gelding is closely related to two-year-old 6f winner Mustique, yard have been a bit quiet lately but well capable of getting one ready.
Home-bred daughter of Rip Van Winkle and a half-sister to useful performers Aspasia De Mileto and Facoltoso, well held on 7f Thirsk debut in July, should get better over further in time.

STEPHENSONS ROCKET is likely to have gleaned plenty from a runner-up finish at Sandown on debut, defying some greenness in doing so, and he can pick up the winning thread here with normal improvement on second start. Equally, Frankel colt Hazarfan showed his inexperience on debut at Newmarket this month and can come on for that now, making him a player. Se You had shown enough in his first two runs to suggest this sort of race would be in his wheelhouse and so is excused a no-show in a 28-runner Newmarket contest recently.
