A long-standing maiden (0/19) for Patrick Holmes, showing little to enthuse about along the way, including when dropped to 6f last time. Readily passed over on first run for a new yard.
Glimpses of promise in five starts, running her best race when just touched off in a 7f maiden on the fibresand in April. Not seen out since May but no forlorn hope if fit enough.
Without a win after eight attempts but more encouragement in a 1m Nottingham handicap last time out when a 1L fourth behind Rosarno. Big player if able to reproduce that form here.
Cost just €8,000 as a yearling but signs of ability in two maidens so far, most recently when around 3L behind Lewinsky at Chelmsford. Looks one for handicaps.
Flickers of promise in maidens for Tim Easterby but largely regressive and struggled badly on his debut for this yard on soft ground at Pontefract. Hard to fancy.
Placed in eight of her 18 Flat starts, largely at 7f/1m, though yet to win. Another good effort when a close third behind Kilbaha Lady over C&D last month and a threat if in the same mood, but it is an 'if'.
Yet to improve on her debut second over 1m2f at Chelmsford in June, though took a step in the right direction when a 2L fourth of 10 behind Enigmatic over 1m there last month. Best opportunity to date.
Forecasts
Lord Commander (15/8), Lewinsky (7/2), American Hustle (4/1), Eddiebet (11/2), Saradani Bay (6/1), Diamond Avalanche (25/1), Trois Bon Amis (100/1)
An unconvincing bunch and probably not a race to get too heavily involved in but LEWINSKY showed signs of recapturing her earlier promise at Chelmsford last time and this could be a golden opportunity to finally get off the mark. Lord Commander and American Hustle could challenge if putting their best foot forward whilst any sort of market move for Eddibet could be significant after a spell on the sidelines.
