Twice a winner earlier in the season over this sort of trip at Hamilton he's failed to really build on those performances. Again, just looked a bit short of pace when a well-held third over 1m5f at Ayr (soft) last time.
Regained winning ways when scoring over this trip at Kempton last month but could only manage fifth off this mark there last time. Clearly no margin for error but likely to remain competitive.
Took advantage of his lenient Flat rating with back to back wins at Southwell in March but unable to piece together anything worthwhile since, finishing stone last at Kempton latest. Best watched for now.
Dead-heated over C&D last December and also scored on his only subsequent visit here in July (from a 5lb lower mark). Very much respected on that basis despite a below par effort at Catterick last time.
Won a maiden over 1m2f here for Alan Swinbank in March and has improved further for this yard, gamely holding on to win over C&D last month. Subsequent 3lb raise may just prove too much, however.
Won his first two starts in decent style but unable to add to his tally in two subsequent runs, though far from disgraced on his return from a five month absence at Kempton last week. Still early days and longer trip should suit.
Haydock maiden winner in April but has proved a disappointment since stepping into handicap company, particularly so when a short-price favourite at Chelmsford (1m6f) last time. Visor introduced in an attempt to regalvanise him.
Maiden winner over this trip at Wolverhampton in April but held in four handicap runs on turf since, beating only a couple home at Ripon last time. Change of headgear this evening.
Won one of his five starts for Peter Chapple-Hyam and plenty of encouragement since switching yards, finishing third in a decent contest at Ripon (1m4f, good to firm) latest. Current mark may not be beyond him.
Improved for the step up to this trip when winning a Thirsk maiden in May but was disappointing on his handicap debut at Pontefract the following month and hasn't been sighted since. Still early days, dangerous to rule out.
A winner in his native France before changing hands for €75,000 and showed just what he is capable of when finishing a close second at Leicester (1m4f, soft) last week. Hit by a 6lb rise for that but still respected on AW bow.
A seven time career winner, but lightly raced on synthetics, and it's difficult to anticipate improvement at the age of nine. Dropping in the weights but two years since his last win and well-held at Redcar last time.
Beaten a head by Therthaar over 1m3f here last month but readily went one better when bounding clear to score by 2½L over C&D last time. Obvious contender from 4lb higher, though this is a better race.

Forecasts
Eldritch (5/2), Reshoun (7/2), Lopes Dancer (6/1), Al Zaman (7/1), Pioneertown (15/2), Solo Mission (8/1), Redicean (10/1), Airton (12/1), Maghfoor (16/1), Banish (20/1), Corton Lad (50/1), Globetrotter (50/1), Chancery (50/1), Samtu (125/1)
Pioneertown scored readily in a class 5 event here last time out but will do well to follow up from 4lb higher in a much better race with both Eldritch and Solo Mission having plenty going for them. Any value, however, may lie with David O'Meara's lightly-raced REDICEAN who finished a solid third at Ripon last time when attempting to concede 4lb to Zack Mayo who duly gave the form a boost by following up off an 8lb higher mark.
- Redicean
- Solo Mission
- Eldritch
