Won a similar contest at Lingfield (6f, good to soft) in August and has run to a similar level under a penalty twice since. Beaten just a neck over 7f here last time and should again be a contender if he acts as well on a sound surface.
Has recorded two similar efforts in a 7f Yarmouth maiden (soft) and a Salisbury novices' contest (heavy) over the same trip. May be capable of improving on a sound surface and pedigree suggests he will have the speed for this. Should be in the mix.
Best effort so far was at Epsom (6f, good) in July, offering hope that she might handle this switchback track. Well held all three runs since, but back in similar conditions to that decent run. Could find improvement, though will need to.
Well beaten in both starts so far, though her second start was at least an improvement on her debut. However, looks to have too much to find to be winning now dropped to this trip today and will make more appeal when handicapping.
Has found one too good on both starts so far over 7f at Redcar (good to firm) and then at Kempton (AW) earlier this month. Has raced as if the drop to this trip might suit, so she looks very much short-list material again this time.
Well beaten in two similar events and also by 4L in a seller in-between. That forms looks way off the pace in an event such as this and she is readily opposed.

Forecasts
Sing Out Loud (5/4), Mr Gent (9/4), Rotherhithe (5/2), Falcon's Vision (5/1), Diamond Express (33/1), Miss Recycled (150/1), Spix's Macaw (150/1)
Diamond Express has shown enough to suggest that she can win a race like this and she should be on the premises, while Rotherhithe has twice gone close and she too should again be thereabouts over this shorter trip. Another dropping in distance is MR GENT, whose pedigree suggests that he should have enough speed to make an impact and on this better ground he might just be the one to side with today. Sing Out Loud is very much respected, though also vulnerable to an improver under his penalty.
- Mr Gent
- Rotherhithe
- Diamond Express
