Promise in three novice events before finishing seventh of 11, not beaten that far, on nursery debut over 6f at this track. Bred to stay much further and this step up in trip should suit admirably.
Has shown ability in four novice events, and nursery debut at Epsom saw her finish fifth of seven after starting slowly. Races off 2lb lower and can do better.
Not disgraced in maiden and nursery company, including when fifth of 12 at Lingfield last time. Has a bit to find off the same handicap mark.
Off the mark at the sixth attempt when narrowly winning a Chepstow novice event. Runs in a handicap for the first time and does not look too harshly treated.
Has had three runs in novice events on a variety of surfaces. Makes his first appearance in a nursery off a high enough mark, but top stable is always to be respected in these contests.
Out of the frame in six starts on AW and turf. Behind Trogon at Lingfield last time and needs to take a step forward if he is to get involved.
Best of three efforts in novice events came on soft ground at Musselburgh last time. Also showed some promise at Haydock and makes his first appearance in handicap company off a fair mark.
Sent off at big prices in all three starts in maiden/novice company. Another dipping his toes into handicap waters for the first time and is worth a check in the market.
Nicely bred, but has failed to beat a rival in thee of his four starts. Nursery debut in first-time blinkers and the headgear needs to have a positive effect.
First run in a nursery at Carlisle last time saw her finish a creditable third of eight over 7f on heavy ground. Stamina untested for this trip, but she is upwardly mobile and ought to be thereabouts if she stays.
Forecasts
Trogon (3/1), French Resistance (6/1), Galactic (7/1), Show Of Force (8/1), Polar Light (8/1), Pelice (8/1), Ruysch (10/1), Onefootinfront (10/1), Show Princess (12/1), Colorado Dream (25/1)
Several of these are running in a nursery for the first time and the best of them may be French Resistance and Show Of Force. Bottom weight Show Princess has to prove her stamina, but is respected, and it is only narrowly that POLAR LIGHT, at the other end of the handicap, is preferred. She was noted running on well over 6f last time and her pedigree suggests this greater test of stamina will suit her admirably. Ruysch started slowly last time and can do better.
- Polar Light
- Show Princess
- French Resistance
