Unusually for one with her trainer, she began handicapping from a mark of 48 at Lingfield (7f, good) and won readily. Just held next time from 6lb higher, she was never in it last time (on good to soft) from 2lb higher. Contender if visor works.
Best effort so far was on debut at Catterick (7f, soft) in August, though he finished well on his handicap introduction at Wolverhampton last time (1m½f, AW). 2lb lower today, but that offers possibilities and he is an interesting runner.
Has not been able to show much n the way of improvement in six starts, though there has been enough from her in her last three runs in handicaps to suggest that there are races to be won with her. Dropped 2lb and up in trip she is not ruled out.
Went very close to breaking his duck at Kempton (7f, AW) last time when on today's mark. A repeat now back over this trip would put him right in the mix. Beaten on soft ground already, but pedigree suggests he should handle it and has claims.
Was runner-up in a Nottingham handicap (1m½f, heavy) on his first start for this yard in August and went close at Beverley (7½f, good) next time. 6lb rise put paid to him last time and 1lb drop looks insufficient for him to break his duck.
Showed a modicum of promise on his first two runs in the spring/summer, but well beaten in two further starts since then (both on soft ground). Dropped 2lb going into this, but need to see more before he can be recommended.
Has regressed in three runs so far and was well held in a Catterick seller last time out. Mark would look okay if she could reproduce her debut effort, but we need to see more and others make more appeal today.
Another whose best effort was first time out. The 25-1 at which he began his handicap debut at Redcar last time were his shortest odds so far and despite a 2lb drop here, a 7L defeat that day suggests he needs more assistance from the handicapper.
Was just about going the right way in her first three starts during the spring/summer, but unable to go on from that on the AW since. Return to turf with a 2lb drop may help, though may be better on faster ground and hard to fancy.

Puramente (3/1), Galloping Hogan (5/1), Amazing Rock (5/1), Mr Carbonator (5/1), Dream of Delphi (5/1), Jaycols Star (8/1), Shadow Seeker (10/1), Daffrah (14/1), Couldn't Could She (20/1), Pearl's Calling (25/1)
Dream Of Delphi may already be weighted to the ceiling of her abilities judged on her latest run, but you couldn't rule out her trainer eeking out more from her and she is very much respected in this moderate handicap. Couldn't Could She enters calculations along with Puramente, though the suggestion is AMAZING ROCK, who showed enough at Wolverhampton last time to think that a 2lb drop might give him a winning chance today.
- Amazing Rock
- Puramente
- Dream of Delphi
