Galway winner on soft ground over this trip in July and a fair effort when fourth on heavy ground subsequently. Needs to put a disappointing effort last time out behind him.
Heavy ground Roscommon winner over this 7f distance in August but well held in a Listed event last time out. Return to 7f should suit as would any overnight rain.
Broke his maiden at the fourth attempt over 7f at Gowran Park (yielding) in August and ran well when third off a mark of 90 at Listowel (heavy) subsequently. One for the shortlist today.
Inconsistent sort having disappointed here following a good second over 5f at Navan (yielding) in a first time visor last month. Others make more appeal today.
Six race maiden with his best placing so far coming when runner-up over an extended 7f at Tipperary (soft) in August. That effort came in a maiden claimer and cheekpieces worn subsequently are absent today.
Stepped up on promising Lingfield debut when winning over an extended 7f at Beverley (soft) last month. Disappointed here four days later and interesting to see how she fares today.
Broke her maiden at the fifth attempt over 7f at Down Royal (soft) last time out. Had previously finished well beaten in a Group 3 contest and worth a check in the market today.
Improved on debut fifth when finishing seventh in a competitive Fairyhouse (yielding) maiden over 6f last month. Likely needs to improve on that if he's to take this contest.
Placed twice in maiden company in August most recently over 6f on the AW at Dundalk. Gelded since his latest effort and one to note with cheekpieces applied for the first time today.
Finished a good fourth in a sales event at The Curragh (soft-to-heavy) last month and subsequently finished third here on soft ground. Blinkers fitted for the first time and worth a check in the market today.
Nine race maiden but run to a good level of form including when when 3L third over 5f on yielding ground here earlier this month. Well held in a Listed event since and wears cheekpieces for the first time stepping up in trip.
Roscommon (soft) maiden winner over an extended 7f but failed to build on that in Group company the last twice. Drop in grade should suit and represents a stable with a 30% strike-rate (9/30) of late.
Broke her maiden at the third attempt over 7f at Dundalk last time out. Returns to turf and fitted with a hood for the first time on this occasion.
Made a winning debut when successful over 7f at Down Royal (good-to-yielding) at the end of July. Unraced since and interesting to see how she fares today.
Twice a winner from six starts so far including on soft ground over 6f here last time out. Also a winner on yielding ground and interesting to see she fares stepping up in trip.
Galway maiden winner on soft-to-heavy ground over this trip in August. Had previously finished a decent sixth to top class juvenile Beckford at The Curragh (good) and she is one for the shortlist today.

QUIZICAL, a maiden winner who ran well off a mark of 90 on his handicap debut last time out can reverse form with his Galway conqueror Yulong Gold Fairy by taking this valuable sales contest. The selection has proven he likes soft surfaces and this drop in trip shouldn't inconvenience him on this occasion. Of the remainder Lisard Lady was a rare two-year-old winner for trainer Tom Cooper when winning at Down Royal in July and she can claim third on this occasion.
- Quizical
- Yulong Gold Fairy
