Not seen much this season, ran well in a competitive event at Doncaster in the spring but not seen since finishing well down the field at Chelmsford in May. No great record fresh, so may be best watched today.
Gained a deserved win after knocking on the door for a while with victory in the mud at Salisbury latest, but 5lb ride and quicker ground here means he needs to pull a bit more out. Well drawn though, and should run his race again.
Solid efforts for much of the year, effective at 7f but win at 6f at Chepstow in August shows he's just as happy at this trip. Should get the pace he needs to come off (usually held up) and if the breaks come, has a chance of nicking it late.
Rattled off a fiver-timer in the summer but handicapper had his say, and he's found life harder since. Now only 3lb higher than last win though, and the more it dries out the better, so a return to form wouldn't be a total surprise.
Has often gone well over this C&D but yet to win here, and in truth, overall strike rate leaves plenty to be desired. Handicapper starting to give her a chance though, and she is nicely drawn, so some positives to take and she could go well.
Knows every blade of grass on this sprint course, three times a winner here and placed another six. Back to form with a good Ascot win in September but couldn't reproduce that next time out, and consistency not his strong point.
Game and genuine mare that pays her way, and looks ready to win again after a couple of solid efforts lately. Trip, track and ground all fine and if negating a moderate draw, will hold her chance again.
Would eat this lot for breakfast on the best of his form, but it's some while since he showed that and he needs to put a poor effort last time behind him too. Has the plot draw, however, and has gone well here in the past, so could bounce back.
In the places more often that not, but last win came in January and he's a victim of his own success, as the handicapper isn't cutting any slack. Second to an improver last time though, and can't be discounted in a tricky event.
Pops up now and then, and only 1lb above last winning mark now, so handicapped to win one again, but this track possibly not ideal and he was well beaten last time out too. Others make more appeal.
Best effort for a while when third to Clear Spring at Salisbury latest but that was on heavy ground and she faces quicker conditions here. Chances if building on that though, as she's fairly lightly raced and may have a bit more to come.

In a race full of if's and but's, a chance is taken that TOOFI, second in a Stewards Cup here at his peak, might be able to double his overall win tally. He clearly comes with plenty of risks, but has a good draw to work from and ideal conditions, so could spring a minor surprise. Stellarta is another that should have won more than she should but these are her conditions too, and she should go well. Poet's Princess took a step forward last time and if repeating it, could reward each-way support.
