Tailed off in both starts to date and impossible to make any case for him here.

Half-brother to several winners who made a decent fist of his debut over C&D here back in June, eventually fading into fourth. No reason he can't improve from that so could go well.

Moderate form in four point-to-points and well beaten at 66/1 in a Perth bumper back in August. Took a keen hold there and could be a tough ride for apprentice rider.
Half-brother to 2m hurdle winner Scooter Boy with the dam from the family of Gold Cup winner Forgive'N'Forget. Ran a really nice race on debut when second here beaten just 1L. Should make presence felt again.
Half-brother to a 2m4f chase winner for Kim Bailey by Black Sam Bellamy. Trainer does well with a small string but not known for bumper winners so best watched on debut.
First-foal to race out of an ordinary hurdler who won just one maiden race. Sire won Group races from 1m4f to 2m. Trainer already had a bumper winner this season so market worth noting here.

Sold at Punchestown for €125,000 after beating subsequent Point-to-Point winner Djarkevi by 3L in a 3m Ballysteen maiden (April). Greenness cost him when beaten a head at 1/3 on debut but should make amends soon enough.

Full-brother to bumper winner Kara Tara out of a mare who was placed in an Irish bumper from two starts. Ordinary effort on debut at Doncaster when fifth of 13. Showed some ability but others bring stronger claims here.

Improved from debut when a good second at Catterick and filled the same position albeit beaten 30L here next time. Easy winner there well beaten subsequently so probably only ordinary form.

North Yorkshire trainer 0 from 15 in bumpers last five seasons. Dam won five times over obstacles and full brother also a multiple chase winner so future likely lies over the big fences.

Forecasts

Senor Lombardy (5/4), Klare Castle (7/2), Tayzar (5/1), Teescomponents Lad (8/1), Schiehallion Munro (10/1), Dijon (14/1), Animated Hero (14/1), Miss Amelia (20/1), Rocket Man Rodney (40/1), Kennedys Field (80/1), Beau Sancy (250/1)

Verdict

Expensive purchase SENOR LOMBARDY rather threw away the chance to win at Kelso but should benefit from that experience and looks to have an excellent chance to go one better here. Klare Castle also ran well in a recent bumper here and looks the main danger with more to come. Dijon ran well enough on debut also and looks likely to place unless any of the newcomers prove smart.
  1. Senor Lombardy
  2. Klare Castle
  3. Dijon
