Well beaten in a Ffos Las bumper before pulled up on hurdles debut at Warwick when jumping woefully. Changed trainer since and likely schooled plenty but no evidence to put him forward.
Placed in last two point-to-points earlier this year (both over 3m). Watching brief suggested on hurdles debut as one would presume this 2m to be on the sharp side.

Beaten out of sight in two hurdle starts for top trainer before joining current yard which has two hurdles wins from last 87 runners. Major step up required but highly unlikely.

24L sixth and 74L last in two bumpers in Ireland earlier this year. First start for new connections and over hurdles for first time so lots to prove.
45L last on hurdles debut over C&D here before slightly improved 25L sixth at Perth three weeks ago. Looks likely to need further but not the worst runner here.

67 rated dual winner on the flat who is effective up to 2m. Somewhat surprising he is only making hurdles bow now but more streetwise than most of these so go well if jumping holds up.

Showed genuine promise in lone start to date when fourth at Newcastle. A bit keen there but travelled supremely well before tiring. While since he ran but promising with more to come if he settles.

Bumped into top-class Ballyandy on debut before winning second bumper at Sedgefield. Looked near impossible ride at Musselburgh latest when running out. Left hand track will help and has ability. Changed stable since last run.

Age: 4|  Weight: 10-5| J: Danny Cook| T: R Hobson
2/5
Dual bumper winner who landed the Grade Two contest at the Grand National festival at Aintree. Potentially top drawer novice has been found a very easy task on her hurdles debut and she should win easily if she takes to it.

Forecasts

Dame Rose (2/5), Tetraites Style (9/2), Royal Flag (13/2), Getaway Bay (10/1), The Linksman (12/1), Rossamilan (33/1), Farocco (33/1), Caventara (40/1), No Boundaries (100/1), Montrachet Mix (100/1)

Verdict

It is hard to envisage DAME ROSE not winning this on her hurdling debut. An impressive Grade Two bumper winner at Aintree when last seen, she could take high rank among novices this season and looks to have been given a simple enough opportunity here. Tetraites Style looked to have potential in his only race to date and he could be a useful novice in his own right while the benefit of plenty of flat experience will help Royal Flag on his hurdles debut.
  1. Dame Rose
  2. Tetraites Style
  3. Royal Flag
