Takes a big drop in class and was far from disgraced when taking on much better types at Haydock latest. Has the best of the draw in stall 1, and if handling the track, can put these to the sword from the word go. Definite player.
In cracking form and lost little in defeat at Chelmsford last time out (better class race than today's). Not so well drawn here but hard to rule out in current frame of mind.
Had some useful form as a juvenile but clearly had training issues, and not seen out until May of this year (after an eight month absence). Didn't show much there, and given he's had another break since, may be best watched here.
Looks well handicapped these days but does need to bounce back after a series of moderate efforts. Dropped to this grade for latest start but did no better, and others make more appeal at present.
Another that looks well handicapped on the best of his form, but not pulling any trees up at present. However, fast pace here will help his come-from-behind style and if cheating a poor draw, a late show isn't ruled out at a track he likes.
Was in good form in the summer, winning a couple at Chelmsford, and far from disgraced on comeback effort there at the end of last month. Two runs here not so encouraging, however, and may be best watched today.
Can blast off and make all, and is very quick for four furlongs on his day. Well drawn again here, and although possibly happier at Lingfield, has chances if the oxygen tanks last out for those final 200 yards.
In good form and made all at Wolverhampton on latest start, battling on well when challenged. 3lb rise for that more than fair, but faces competition for the lead here and will need to dig in even harder.
Wins her share and popped up again at Yarmouth in August, winning with a bit in hand. Not so good in two subsequent starts, however, and stall 9 not much help to her here either. Others hold better claims.
Forecasts
Orvar (10/3), Thammin (4/1), Foxy Forever (9/2), Midnightly (13/2), Oh So Sassy (7/1), Come On Dave (11/1), Saved My Bacon (12/1), Annie Salts (20/1), Majestic Hero (20/1)
This could be fast and furious, with a few liking a show of the front early, and a chance is taken that this might fall into the lap of the well-handicapped OH SO SASSY. He's 3-4 here, so clearly likes this track, and should get this run to suit. Now 2lb lower than his last winning mark too, and this looks a very suitable opportunity. Orvar might be able to stick on for second, with Foxy Forever and the speedball Come On Dave best of the rest.
