Made steady progress in the spring without winning but form dropped somewhat towards the beginning of summer but second, 23L adrift of Mullinavat last time out looks solid enough in this company.
Runs the odd inadequate race but has been largely consistent throughout the summer including a third of 13 at Kilbeggan but disappointed last time out in a Listowel handicap hurdle over 2m4f. Drop back in trip sure to suit.
Well beaten and no impression in three career maiden hurdle in November and December last year, before a 43L defeat finishing seventh of 12 on his return in August. Will need to improve on handicap debut to figure.
Still a maiden and has been regressing recently, including when beaten 39L in a 2m handicap hurdle at Down Royal and beating only one home in a 13-runner contest at Clonmel last month. Looks a tall order on recent form.
Heavy defeats in all three maiden hurdles so far, latest at Navan when beaten 48L last month and plenty more needed here.
Has made steady progress over the summer with some cosistent performances culminating in a 1¾L win beating 18 rivals in a Gowran Park handicap hurdle. Up 7lb but can still play a part here.
Well beaten and not a lot to shout about towards the end of last year. Returns here following a 12-months off with very little to be positive about.
Consistent and game mare over the summer without winning who just needs a change of luck. Can be expected to improve again and one for the shortlist.
Well beaten with four laboured performances in his career, two coming in the spring. Difficult to imagine what improvement first-time tongue-tie will bring.
Hinted at being back to his best on first two outings for his new yard but reverted to type too readily for comfort at Limerick, before pulling up when tailed off last time out at Downpatrick.
Four-race maiden including three over hurdles. Well beaten in all career starts to date and hard to fancy until she shows signs of any ability.
Has been kept busy over the spring and early part of the summer without success. Looks a tall order on recent form shown.
Has spent the summer running on the Flat mostly in Scotland and without success. Without a win in five second-rate hurdle starts last season and was pulled up on seasonal debut at Listowel when tailed off.
No impact in bumpers or maiden hurdles but has offered more encouragement since sent handicapping, only going down by 9L to Theatre Run at Ballinrobe, before a heavy defeat last time out at Gowran Park.
First run for this trainer saw him finish tenth of 24 in a handicap hurdle at Cork in August, before finishing a gallant third of 20 beaten 3¼L at Down Royal last month. Shouldn't be underestimated.
Has disappointed in three national hunt starts since joining from a successful stint in the point-to-point ranks, before beaten 71L last time out in a Downpatrick maiden hurdle last month. Tough ask and others preferred.
Not a lot to shout about beaten over 100L in four of his last five national hunt spins. Very little to be positive about.
Consistent and a game sort over the summer putting in some solid performances without winning. One for the shortlist and gives the impression we may not have seen the best of him yet.

Forecasts

Fairymount Boy could build on his gutsy win at Galway last month but preference is just for WEST LIGHT who gives the impression we may not have seen the best of him yet and has the assistance of Davy Russell for this contest. Queen Khaleesi has been a consistent and game mare over the summer without winning and Jessicor who finished a gallant third of 20 beaten 3¼L at Down Royal last month can hit the frame.
