Two wins so far this year taking a novice on his third run and then looking an improved model when taking a nursery on his first start in that sphere. Looks to have remained in form after that and can handle this mark with cheekpieces on for first time.
Made a great deal of progress from first to second run when breaking her maiden on the AW at Newcastle over 6f. Made all on that occasion and followed that up with another good run back on turf and looking set for handicaps and another furlong (bred for further).
Ran away with a weak maiden on testing ground at Haydock last time over 6f and although that form looks weak he did it in good style. May do better in this sphere and well drawn here to go forward and get a good position which will stand him in good stead here.
This will be his second run on turf having made a decent impression on his first try on the surface at York. Now makes his debut in handicaps off a mark that he should be competitive off although he faces a few in-form sorts here off a break.
Down in grade last time to a claimer he's not shown anything like the same form that he produced when taking a Hamilton novice over 5f on good ground. Only had one try in a handicap so far off a 5lb higher mark.
Makes his handicap debut having been drawn wide at Chester on his qualifying run and having very little chance. His previous form isn't anything to get too excited about and he's got plenty to prove here.
Forecasts
Camacho Chief (6/4), Rastacap (11/4), Feebs (5/1), Big Les (6/1), Danehill Desert (9/1), Finnion Fox (33/1)
This looks a competitive little nursery with Feebs looking as though he can make a step forward going into handicaps but the same could be said of the filly RASTACAP who is bred to stay further and looks ready for handicaps having already shown some good form. Camacho Chief ought to be on the premises with cheekpieces on for the first time with Big Les another who should be able to get involved.
- Rastacap
- Camacho Chief
- Feebs
