Now 12lb below last winning mark and some hints that he could take advantage at some point although he is far from consistent. Latest 4lb drop for 4½L sixth at Beverley gives him a chance.
Veteran front-runner hasn't won in 14 starts this year. No surprise his handicap is on the slide and having refused this season he probably is ready for his pipe and slippers.
Has shown potential to win albeit at this moderate level in six starts to date. Latest fourth of 18 reads well and she is eased 1lb too. Can race keenly and most of form over 6f but not out of this.
Veteran ran best race for some time here latest when 1¾L fourth to Lady Joanna Vassa. All eight career wins at Ayr and hard to see him winning this.
Glimpses of promise but proving a bit frustrating so far and remains winless from nine starts. Produced one of her better efforts when third in a seller over 1m1f on soft ground at Hamilton last time but 7f form not as strong.
Clearly below par when 14½L seventh of 11 last time out at Catterick. In fine form before that so not dismissed but latest run tempers enthusiasm.
Maiden of 15 starts and sole placed effort on turf came in May 2016. Didn't run badly last time stepped back to this trip at Yarmouth but even with another 2lb drop he's hard to fancy.
Ran best race in some time last time over C&D, her second start for this yard. Remains on the same mark and unlikely to bump into one like she did there today so looks a leading contender.
Potentially well-handicapped now but over a year since he last won and little evidence that he retains that ability. No obvious reason to suggest a revival.
Won off a higher mark in July but that his lone win in two years and really out of sorts of late. Often pulls hard in his races and will need to bounce back to be involved.
Well-bred but shown very little in six unplaced runs to date. Glimpse of ability at Ayr on penultimate start but didn't build on it last time at the same venue.

In a race that will take very little winning QUIET MOMENT can get off the mark. She ran well when second to a runaway winner over C&D last time in her second start for Keith Dalgleish and off the same mark has a nice opportunity here. Fellow three-year old Melrose Girl ran well enough last time to suggest she too can be involved here. Top weight Hitman is clearly well handicapped now and as a four-year old there is no reason he can't take advantage in the near future.

- Melrose Girl
