Took a step forward on his debut form when tried over 1m at Haydock (good to soft) last time, although he looked as if this trip would suit better for now. Nonetheless, he looks more likely to be a player in nurseries after this race.
Was a 9½L ninth of 17 on his York debut (7f, good) in August, when slowly into his stride, but staying on nicely. Looks to have the scope for a fair bit of improvement on that and it would no surprise if he finishes much closer this time.
Made a promising debut at Yarmouth last month (7f, soft), when sent off at 16-1 and finishing just over 5L behind the winner. Has something to build on this time and should be capable of getting competitive if he can take a step forward.
Ran well enough here over 5f (soft) on debut last month, but was not able to match that when stepped up tp 6f at Ripon (soft) last time. Upped again in trip here and looks more likely to be of interest when he has a handicap mark.
Beaten 37L when last of seven on debut at Carlisle (7f, heavy) last month. Will be looking for some improvement on that on this better ground, though is another that is more likely to be attractive when he has a handicap mark.
50-1 and beaten 5½L on debut at Yarmouth (7f, soft) last month. That was a better effort than the market suggested and he has something to build on this time, though nurseries may prove more fruitful once he has a rating.
Has run well in all three outings so far over 6f/6½f and is proven on good to soft ground. However, has twice been a beaten favourite and is vulnerable. Step up in trip could help him find the necessary and anything that beats him will go close.
€9,500 yearling, who sold for 14,000 gns in the spring. Half-brother to four winners from 6f-1m4f, out of an unplaced half-sister to French 6½f two-year-old Group 3 and US 1m½f/1m2f winner Potaro. Probably one to watch first time.
Beaten 1¾L when fifth of 11 on debut at Yarmouth last month, when sent off at just 4-1. The sixth-placed runner has since come out and made the frame in a similar race, so with improvement probable, he could finish among the prizes this time.
Runner-up twice so far at Catterick, over 7f/6f, both with cut in the ground. However, carries risks as he has twice been a beaten favourite, though a repeat of either of those runs would clearly make him a contender again.
Improved after making his debut here in August when a 5L runner-up on heavy ground at Carlisle last time. Sticks to this trip and can maintain her upward curve, though might find something too good again.

Forecasts
Commander Han (1/1), Tamkeen (7/2), Picture No Sound (7/1), Hello My Sunshine (10/1), Comporta (11/1), Three Saints Bay (12/1), Launceston Place (16/1), The Cliff Horse (20/1), Bertog (22/1), Gleaming Sun (66/1), Kenmare River (66/1), Red Seeker (100/1)
Several of this field have the potential to improve enough to take a hand, including Commander Han, Comporta and Hello My Sunshine. Picture No Sound should not be long in breaking his duck, though like Three Saints Bay, there is a vulnerability about his form. Therefore, the suggestion is TAMKEEN, whose debut run looks solid enough and if he can improve for it, then he might just have been found a good opportunity.
- Tamkeen
- Picture No Sound
- Commander Han
