Has won a couple of lower grade events this year and this looks to be her optimum trip. Comfortably held from this mark at Beverley last time and now looking exposed and vulnerable to better-handicapped opponents.

Scored over marginally further at York (good to soft) in July from 2lb lower and was very competitive when finishing ahead of Euro Nightmare at Beverley last month. Excuses over the ground at Haydock last time and she looks a contender.

Has looked progressive on the All Weather at Chelmsford lately, winning twice over this trip. Up another 6lb for the latest of those, but there has to be some concern that she was well held from a 10lb lower mark on her last turf run in July.

Both her wins have been over this trip and with cut in the ground and, while she acts on good, she would prefer a drop of rain. Up 6lb for most recent win and also up in grade today, so more needed but cannot be ruled out.

Had been knocking on the door all season before coming good on bottomless ground at Ffos Las last time out (1m2f). Raised just 1lb for that and the likelihood is that in this grade and on this ground she will find a few too good.

Recorded a string of placed efforts in maidens before persistence paid off with a win at Carlisle (1m1f, good to soft) in August. Went well to be beaten just ½L on her handicap debut over 1m3½f at Yarmouth last time. Unexposed and interesting.

Won a Salisbury maiden (good to firm) over this trip in June a bettered that despite defeat at Nottingham on her handicap (good to soft) last time. Should be better here for a sound surface and from the same mark she could be a danger to all.

Couldn't get her nose in front for Luca Cumani, but did so on her second start for this yard in a Wolverhampton maiden (1m1½f, AW) in August. Good effort after a 3lb rise at Brighton last time. Nudged up the same again here, but going the right way.

Both of her wins have been at Wolverhampton, the latter a handicap success (1m1½f) in August from today's mark. Bettered that at Chelmsford last time and will need to improve again on this return to turf to figure in what is a stronger race.

Won a Salisbury maiden (1m, good) at the third attempt in August, but a combination of 1m2f and slower ground put paid to her handicap debut effort last time. That 8L defeat gives her a fair bit to prove in this grade.

Landed a soft ground Yarmouth handicap (1m1f) in July at 20-1 and went well back over that C&D last time. Up 2lb and in a better contest, she will need to improve to get competitive and there are also concerns about her getting the trip.

Forecasts

Blushing Rose (9/2), Neshmeya (5/1), Lorelina (5/1), Great Court (7/1), Sea Tide (7/1), Ice Dancing (10/1), Twenty Times (12/1), Euro Nightmare (12/1), Appointed (14/1), Keeper's Choice (25/1), Voi (33/1)

Verdict

Quite a competitive event and one where the probable market leader Blushing Rose could be a blot on the handicap, though at the same time she does have to prove that she is as good on turf as her recent progressive All Weather form might have us believe and she may not represent much in the way of value. The suggestion, therefore, is NESHMAYA, who is unexposed, improving and will be better suited by the forecast good ground than she was last time. Sea Tide poses a significant threat, Twenty Times and Great Court are both respected, while Appointed could go very well at a price.
