Put up his best recent effort when scoring at Newbury although this trip is a little further than his best (has winning form up to 2m2f). Found out in some better handicaps after his last win and may well need this coming back from a break.
Overcame a lack of experience when winning on his hurdles debut and ran two decent races subsequently at Cheltenham both in juvenile events (one a handicap). Given plenty to do in that handicap and this trip looks to suit on his reappearance.
Consistent sort in his first season over hurdles (won twice) both in novice company and makes his handicap debut here. Didn't look as though he was progressing still on his last start (looked a little awkward) and hard to say he's well handicapped here.
Has a good record fresh having won first-time out on a couple of occasions with bumper and hurdles wins to his name. Found his opening mark in handicaps too tough when finishing midfield at Aintree but may find this small field easier to manage.
Had plenty of experience over hurdles (3/9) with all his wins coming when the market leader. The move into handicaps coincided with him being tried over further off what looks to be a fairly stiff mark; shorter trip will suit better here.
Fell when last seen over hurdles in the spring although he did look set to play a part in the finish. A winner on the Flat since then over 2m at Galway in handicap company and of interest here on his return to hurdles; trip should suit.
The relatively unknown quantity in the race having only run in France and now has his first run for this yard after a lengthy absence. Handicapper has had to have a guess at his mark but a very interesting debutante and dangerous to underestimate him here.

Dashing Oscar (5/2), Azzerti (3/1), Loverboy (11/2), Casper King (6/1), Diable De Sivola (13/2), Vicenzo Mio (10/1), Remiluc (12/1), Magna Cartor (14/1)
The Dan Skelton French import Loverboy is sure to be one to watch in the market and that is likely to prove the best guide to his chance on his GB debut but looking at his French form he clearly has ability. Diable De Sivola can be given a good chance here on his Cheltenham form of last year with Casper King another to throw into the equation although his mark looks stiff enough. Azzerti is another one whose mark looks stiff but does come from a yard in good form but the form when fresh attracts you to DASHING OSCAR. He might find this easier than when trying to dominate a big field on his handicap debut despite his mark still looking a testing one.
- Dashing Oscar
- Diable De Sivola
- Loverboy
