A three-time course winner who has never been quite able to recapture her prolific form of 2015 (won six consecutive handicaps) although she has won a couple of times since. Judged in recent form this is her grade these days especially if given a test of stamina.
Continues to slide down the weights but shows no real sign of taking advantage with his attitude getting ever worse. Generally slowly way these days he looks a difficult and recalcitrant ride who needs everything to fall his way to score; best watched now.
Has been hurdling for this yard without success since he joined from Mick Appleby and has won on the Flat three times over staying trips off higher marks. Returned to this sphere for his last two runs and could do better although doubts remain.
Picked up an apprentice event around here earlier in the year over 2f shorter but has proved she stays this trip and acts on this ground in two recent wins. Typically slow away on her last start she picked up well to score; may find it tougher to complete a hat-trick.
Has always produced his best form at Musselburgh but has scored over C&D. Helped by a reduced mark and a staying trip on his penultimate start at Carlisle he ran better than he has been. Not in the same form last time and one to take care with.

Forecasts
Question Of Faith (5/6), Elite Icon (9/4), Wor Lass (4/1), Archie's Advice (6/1), La Bacouetteuse (8/1), New Youmzain (8/1), Schmooze (16/1), Archibelle (20/1)
Most of these come with a question mark against them and the two most likely winners look as though they may come from off the pace. Question Of Faith will need to turn in a career best to win here but hardly faces an improving types apart from ELITE ICON. It took the penny to drop with him last time but he’s only three-years-old and this ground and test of stamina may be what he wants to record another grinding victory. Wor Lass should run well in this grade and enjoy the test of stamina while on his old form New Youmzain would have a chance given this staying test.
