Winner of a couple of races as a juvenile on quick surfaces and has had little respite from the handicapper since. Not likely to be in love with the ground and others appeal more.
Son of Frankel who won a Newbury maiden on his second start (7f, good to soft) a year ago. Reappeared in the Dante at York in May, outclassed there (perhaps didn't stay) but is of interest returning to action in a handicap such as this.
Improved when winning eight-runner handicap over C&D (good to firm) 34 days ago by 1½L from Lord Clenaghcastle. Softer ground is a concern now off 4lb higher mark.
C&D winner in July off mark of 72, behind Fujaira Bridge in August and probably found the 7f a bit sharp 17 days ago. Should relish the likely going and not taken lightly.
Career-best effort to land 11-runner handicap at Musselburgh (1m1f, soft) just over two weeks ago having gone off a 25/1 chance. All out to hold on there, 6lb hike asks a tough question and not suited at these weights.

Forecasts
Isabella (5/2), Heatongrad (3/1), Swiss Storm (7/2), Fujaira Bridge (4/1), Lord Clenaghcastle (6/1), Dr Julius No (16/1)
Last time out C&D scorer Fujaira Bridge has a tough task on in his follow up attempt on revised terms and facing ground that is set to be softer than ideal, as such he may struggle to uphold placings with runner-up (and former C&D scorer) Lord Clenaghcastle, who will act on soft. The pair to focus on however could be in-form filly Isabella and handicap debutant SWISS STORM. The former could still have more to offer having been foiled very late on at Hamilton recently but she must concede weight all round now. A son of Frankel, the selection was a maiden winner on softish ground at Newbury in his only outing last year and can be forgiven a timed effort in the Dante on only sighting this year. An opening mark of 89 may be underestimating his ability.
- Swiss Storm
- Isabella
- Lord Clenaghcastle
