A consistent enough sort but his overall record reads 0/23 and he's likely to be found wanting again here as he has before. His last two runs in low grade sprint handicaps would only entitle him to a place at most in this.
Yard so well at this course which makes him of passing interest although his two starts so far wouldn't be good enough to win this. May well show some progress here and that would make him of interest for handicaps in the future.
Sets the standard here having made the frame in three AW maidens taking the runner-up slot the last twice having started favourite both times. Only beaten by a head last time out and if he takes to the surface and conditions he's the one to beat.
Failed to land a blow although hinted at some ability on her only start for Marcus Tregoning in a 7f AW maiden last year. Shaped relatively well on her debut for this yard 1m2f (heavy) on her belated reappearance but drops in trip now.
Really has very little worthwhile form to her name having failed to so far beat a rival in middle-distance maidens around here the last twice. Hopes and they are slim ones now pinned on headgear and a drop in trip.
Already exposed as a poor maiden and has struggled over this C&D before and hard to see him taking a hand in this given his overall record.
Forecasts
Tamih (1/2), Ebqaa (11/4), Mr Slicker (8/1), Jacksonfire (16/1), Red Shanghai (50/1), Just Heather (66/1)
A poor contest and without doubt the worst on the card and it really should present TAMIH with a chance of opening his account; he won't find many easier opportunities to break his maiden. Ebqaa isn't certain to be suited by the step back in trip but her overall form should ensure a place in this with Mr Slicker having a shot at third and he's preferred to Jacksonfire for the minor place.
- Tamih
- Ebqaa
- Mr Slicker
