Ran really well over C&D from today's mark when runner-up in August and maintained that sort of form back on turf last time. Has a nice enough draw again today and should be right there on the premises.
Dual winner here over 6f and blew his chance back here last time when too keen. Interesting now dropped back to this trip (has won over it before) and not discounted.
You have to go back over four years for the more recent of his two wins, one of which was over this trip at Dundalk. Well beaten on his first start for this yard at Newbury last week and others make more appeal at the weights.
It's less than a year since he was beaten just ½L over this trip at Leicester from 5lb higher, but he has been way off that form since. Has run well here before, but recent efforts suggest that the handicapper remains in control for the moment.
Has a 6f Lingfield All Weather win to his name and was beaten just 1L here over C&D last November. Going into this from 3lb lower looks appealing, although two recent efforts on turf have left a lot to be desired.
Goes into this on a hat-trick after wins at Haydock and Newmarket over this trip. Proven over C&D, he should again be very competitive after another 2lb rise. Will need to be at his best for some time to win again, but has a good draw.
Beaten just a short-head at Lingfield on his only previous All Weather start and comes into this on the back of a good summer, which included a win at Bath (5½f, firm). This mark will probably demand a career-best, but he should be competitive.
Yet to add to her three wins this season and has been in the grip of the handicapper since a good effort in defeat at Salisbury 12 months ago. On an attractive mark for her first All Weather run, though not easy to recommend after recent efforts.
All five of his wins have been on turf, though he went close over C&D last year when 2lb higher. Not disgraced at Ripon last time and the handicapper is now giving him a chance, so from a good draw he could go very close.
Has a tremendous record here and is chasing a C&D hat-trick after winning on her last two runs in June and July. Now on a career-high mark and up in grade, so will need to be at her best to add a seventh win here to her CV.

Forecasts
El Astronaute (2/1), Udontdodou (7/2), Aleef (9/2), Foxy Forever (6/1), Stanghow (10/1), Lightscameraction (12/1), Handytalk (14/1), Show Stealer (16/1), Saved My Bacon (20/1), Rosina (20/1), Crosse Fire (25/1), Abstraction (40/1)
Udontdoyou is interesting dropped to this trip for the first time in a while and a win would not be a huge surprise, while El Astronaute is another with claims. Aleef makes appeal from this mark, though he has to shrug off a couple of poor efforts, while Foxy Forever will be popular given that he is chasing a hat-trick and his chance is respected. Handytalk should also be thereabouts. However, STANGHOW has been given some daylight by the handicapper and with a good draw, he might be capable of taking advantage.
- Stanghow
- Udontdodou
- Foxy Forever
