Winner at Dundalk on return this year and has been largely running well in defeat in Group company subsequently. Definate player dropped into a Group 3 against her own sex but probably wants fast ground to be seen at her best.

Listed winner over C&D on return this year and may have "bounced" at Newbury last time out when up in trip. Worth giving another chance to and given time to recover from her effort last time. Should run well but Dettori prefers Elas Ruby.

Won a Goodwood maiden on second start (dead-heated) but not been in the same form since and unplaced in three attempts at Listed company. Needs plenty more upped in class.

Impressive winner in a Newbury Listed contest when last seen in the UK and respectable efforts in Group company in France since. May have been targeted at soft ground with that in mind so won't mind any rain fall and she's the stables first-string.

Improving sort who produced a career best to win a Listed contest at York last time. Could be even better if she learns how to settle early in her races and proven with cut in the ground. Ought to run well.

Not won since winning in maiden company at Ffos Las but has been running well in defeat in Listed company. Undoubtedly needs more improvement to figure here but proven with cut in the ground at least.

Produced late to win at the Galway Festival before finishing seven of 13 in a competitive Curragh handicap. Has to step up markedly on that form but pedigree suggests she may stay and could improve for the fitting of first-time tongue-tie and hood.

Stepped up on her maiden form by winning a Goodwood Listed contest and only just touched off in a Group 2 by Coronet. Disappointing odds on favourite in a Listed race at York last time but she's better than that and should bounce back.

Improved from a handicap win at Doncaster with a placed effort over C&D in Listed company. Only just touched off in a Listed race over this trip in France last time out and gives the impression we're yet to see the best of her.

Verdict

FLEUR FORSYTE produced a career best last time out and she gives the impression she's still learning on the job and there may be more to come. Elbereth should enjoy this drop in class after some respectable efforts in Group 2 company this year. John Gosden won this with Journey last year and Elas Ruby has been running well on the other side of the Channel recently, getting the vote of stable-jockey Frankie Dettori; giving the trainer a fair chance of landing back-to-back renewals.
