Bought for $50,000. Has a suitable pedigree for AW circuits but yard are just 2-43 with juveniles. Cheekpieces on for debut and likely to be one of the rank outsiders.
Dansili colt, cost 150,000 gns as a yearling. Has looked green but not disgraced in two starts in good company. Shapes as though needing further but remains interesting switching to a faster surface.
Uncle Mo colt, cost $40,000 as a yearling and 150,000 gns as a yearling. Has a useful dirt pedigree and represents a yard with a 38% strike rate in AW juvenile races this year. 33/1 on York debut and did well to finish fifth having missed the break.
Unraced son of Dawn Approach cost connections €200,000 12 months ago. Half-brother to a couple of useful performers at 7f to 1m and is one to note on debut. Six of the yard's seven winners in the past fortnight have been juveniles.
115,000 gns purchase and related to a smart performer in Japan. Easy to back on debut and finished last of six. Up in trip but the improvement will need to be dramatic.
Yard in good form with this age group and he has been unlucky not to add to that success. Went down narrowly to an 83 rated rival last time and that sets a high standard for a maiden around here.
Exceed and Excel colt, cost €180,000 as a yearling. Last of six on debut but there had been support. Obviously thought capable of better and rider 3-8 for the stable.
Bought for 6,500 gns at the breeze-ups. Makes little appeal on pedigree and a first juvenile runner for the yard.
Bought for 58,000 gns at the breeze-ups in May. By Society Rock out of a moderate dam who stayed middle-distances and was related to a couple of Listed winners.
Has made little impact in his two starts to date. Stable in form but he looks a more likely type for a nursery.
Holy Roman Emperor colt who cost 41,000 guineas as a yearling. Dam a winner over 1m in Germany. Sent off at 50/1 on debut and only beat two home. Looked green but unlikely he will have improved sufficiently to land this.
War Front colt out of a well-related dam. Yard's horses generally improve with time and a watching brief is advised.

Corrosive (11/8), Manthoor (11/4), Nicklaus (5/1), Court House (6/1), Conversant (10/1), Antagonist (14/1), Georgian Manor (25/1), U S S Missouri (25/1), Queens Gallery (25/1), Prince Rock (25/1), Al Hareth (50/1), Roman Warrior (66/1), Percy Prosecco (66/1)
This is a decent race for the grade and one where the newcomer Court House catches the eye given the yard's current run of form with this age group. Conversant and Corrosive hail from a yard with an excellent strike rate with their AW juveniles this year and both look the type to improve considerably on their debut efforts. Antagonist was not knocked about on bad ground last time and this quicker surface may yield a better run, but we take MANTHOOR to get his head in front for a stable that have a strong team of juveniles. His latest run sets a clear standard and it will take an above average newcomer or a significant improver to foil him. Nicklaus looks best of the rest.
- Manthoor
- Court House
- Corrosive
